Till now, i only fell in love with characters, respected and appreciated actors for their craft, never stan or ship any actors. So no emotional investment and no heart break. ❤️

On a serious note if we keep aside this filmy saying that A boy and a girl can't be best friends, these two give me such best friends wibe. Their friendship and trust reflect in their comfort and chemistry. I really hope they stay the same always.❤️

Love means freedom, that's what Aryan's love to imlie. But unfortunately, knowingly or unknowingly she destroyed him because she never understood the depth of his feelings for her as well as his fears. On surface level, chiku's loss is their both loss. But when it comes to Aryan losing loved ones is his greatest fear. This fear haunts him always that's why he is very particular about his family safety. That's why chiku's loss is very personal and he is still holding on to that grudge against her because he saw that coming when Malini entered. He helplessly saw imlie madly entering into Malini trap carelessly by keeping her as well as chiku's life at stake. He already saw her madness when it comes to Malini in that bulldozer scene. As you said, even now it's not the love which stopped her, It's again Malini and her tashan...🤦‍♀️

Previously these two sisters destroyed tripati's family. I just hope Rathore's are lucky enough to escape from this clash of Titans. 🙏

Except for this line, I don't have a say. Imlie didnot destroy the Tripathi's. She nannied them too much, she could have destroyed her career because she cared too much for them. But never did she destroy them. She did her best, what she could, and even went above and beyond for them. Malini and Aditya destroyed the Tripathis. One with his indecision/ so-called-lacharapan and the other with her obsession.

The separation track has been the one where they really fell, for the first time.

I agree that imlie's character arc is very poor and changes as per convinience being ITV FL, and I don't blame anyone for not being able to connect with the character either. It is what it is, we learn to live with it over time.

It's good to discuss different opinions respectfully. 😊

I am always in for a healthy discussion. It's all about different perspectives because what we are today is completely dependent on our past experiences and learnings. At the time of facing a problem, whether to blame others and cry or stand-up and fight to take your life in to your control is completely our choice. At the end these choices and how we handle it's consequences is what makes/moulds our life/character. ❤️

Till now it's basically role reversal sort of thing... when arylie meet before leap as boss n employee... Aryan was rock solid n didn't used to show his emotion whereas imlie used to cry for her BS n her marriage that ended... Aryan used to listen n absorb her pain gives her reason to fight back ....

Now post leap it's Aryan who has turned all emotional n imlie is not showing emotion...She is now doing the same for Aryan that he once did for her..she is trying to make him stand n fight for his business, himself...his self worth bcoz he has lost everything after imlie left him ....

If the viewers are not feeling the connect with the main character then they really need to take a pause and reflect. You can't run the show just with angst and chemistry forever.

That guy is wishing for his death everyday, even though she is trying to pull him up, it's not going to be an easy task. It's like she stabbed him, now struggling to keep him alive. She is the only cure for his pain, but for that first she needs to understand and accept the damage she caused to him.

The problem with Imlie's characterisation is that we're just supposed to assume that she must also be sad because of the MC because she is a woman. We do not see any clear indication of it except for the few times we have her saying that she has also suffered the pain of loss. Whereas Aryan's suffering is explicitly shown to us. We see Imlie's pain at being separated from the love of her life but not the pain of losing her child. That's why it is difficult to feel connected to her for most of us. Not saying she should sit and cry about it all day but it would've been so much better if they explored the loss and the sorrow associated with it, from her point of view also, more in depth. Somebody on the forum (don't remember who, sorry) mentioned that she could be shown having nightmares about the day of the accident, which I thought was a nice idea. Because that is something that will help us SEE that she too has been suffering because of their loss. Classic example of SHOW, don't tell. Right now we only have her TELLING us that she's also suffered but we've not actually SEEN it. Therefore it sometimes comes across as if she doesn't care about Cheeku as much as Aryan does. If they adress this aspect of it, it would be easier to sympathise with her. After all she was a 20 year old girl whose triggers made her take less than wise decisions which ultimately led to the accident. It was a sorry occurance and people make mistakes. This was a costly mistake and if just a little more perspective of her pain was clearly shown to us, along with maybe a little introspection, it would be easier to connect with her.

That's the point. ❤️

Can we ever see any introspection from imlie's side about her choices and it's consequences???

Good intentions are not just enough, knowingly or unknowingly she too became a catalyst for that family's destruction. Strictly my POV.

They want to create drama so they made her a nanny to tripati's. Ohh girl, is it that difficult to live and let live. Who on earth cling to ex's after ending your marriage. In this aspect imlie much better and tolerable than our mahaan Anupamaa.🙏

If I am not wrong, Aditya and imlie broke up because of trust issues. Going by her past experience, don't you think she should treasure her relationship with Aryan. The way that guy trust her character & capabilities, most importantly the way he treats her as an equal is really rare to see even in real life.

Once Malini instigated Satyakam against Aditya saying that he(Adi)was cheating on imlie with Malini. When Satyakam came to Delhi to find out the truth he saw Adi and Malini together in a jewellery shop. Them going to the jewellery shop was also a plan by Malini. Satyakam misunderstand Aditya.He took him to a secluded place and shot him without giving him a chance to explain himself. Everyone else were at home waiting for Aditya and became worried for him. Imlie told Aparna that she would bring Aditya back. She found him and in all this she got bitten by a snake. When she returned home with Adi both of them collapsed outside the Tripathi house. Everyone were literally divided into two "teams".All senior Tripathis and Chaturvedis went towards Adi whereas Meethi,Nishant,Rupi went towards Imlie. The worst part was the Tripathis didn't even spare a glance at Imlie-the one who saved their son's life risking her own forget asking about her well-being.

That's why I could never warm upto them though they were whitewashed during AryLie's wedding.

I agree. But she was nowhere involved in their destruction. She didnot ask Aditya to re-marry or be a bloody pendulum. She went with his wishes because she thought he was Sita Maiyya's ashirwaad and tried her best. Usko chitt bhi chahiye tha aur phaat bhi, par aisa toh nahi ho sakta na. Her only mistake was to entertain Malini in her house after the divorce.

Imlie and Anupaama should not be compared. Imlie didnot tolerate it when Aditya questioned her character. Vanraj har do din Anupaama ko insult karta hai phir bhi it does not stop Anu from clinging to Shah parivaar. And she didnot defend Aditya except for the fact that he could not have been the cause for Arvind's death. Anu lovessss to defend V and phir wohi kehti hai you are a cheater, waghera waghera, which he is, par ek din uski tareef aur dusre din yeh. It gets annoying. And and, Tripathi's are nowhere as toxic as Shah's, please. Shah are a bunch of absolutely toxic, no good, useless people. Unke hisaab se toh Aparna ki puja honi chahiye.

And as for the clinging aspect, they were the only ones who treated her with love. She considered them family. Tripathi's were her first connection. Aditya ke saath bhi bad mein pyaar hua. Toh I guess it's not really that difficult to understand.

No. Trust issues in the past relationships always affects the next relationship. That's human nature. And talking about learning from previous experiences, I don't seem to find Aryan's change in mentality. Kal bhi he couldnt handle a loss aur aaj bhi. Kal tak it was justice for Jeeju, aaj it's Cheeku. Tab Aditya gunegaar tha (yeh alag baat hai he was actually responsible) aaj Imlie hai. So what's changed ?

@b: which is exactly I'm seeing the show for. Man is a super nice guy. I'm really ignoring all the things he is saying rn. Because I know he's hurt and is just being defensive. Otherwise it would be unbearable to see all the nonsense Aryan seems to do these days.

The amount of bad things that Aparna said to Imlie during the, I think third Pagdandiya phase, the one where Aditya reveals their marriage is not something Aparna can be easily forgived for. They kept flipping throughtout. Kabhi Malini, kabhi Imlie. Gosh !!
