I agree on K Jo and his habit of inviting mostly industry brats on his show. I think earlier Simi also used to invite mostly star families and their kids on her show. It was hideous to see Esha, Abhishek, Ahana, Shweta Bachchan on her show and even Sushmita's daughter Renee. Or play family videos of Kapoors, Gandhis, Ambanis, Birlas etc on show. She hardly invited outsiders or likes of Akshay Kumar on her show.

But social media was there at time of Ranbir, Sonam, Aparshakti Khurrana, Aadar Jain, Parineeti Chopra etc but still no one complained about nepotism.

Why outrage after SSR death or Kangana interviews only?

Which star kids are arrogant? Except Kareena or Sonam 9r Harshvardhan IDK which one has shown attitude.

K Jo went overboard promoting Alia and it is true she has been shoved down throats of audience but earlier star kids were also over promoted. Kajol used to get opportunities on a platter in 90s and so did Rani. Kareena also got lot more attention, PR, awards and offers. Abhishek has forever been promoted thanks to his family.

How come nepo kids of South like Prabhas, Ram Charan, NTR Jr and Rana are no issue for audience then?

Susmita is invited somewhere and shows up w the kid.

Now Susmita herself may be an outsider. But when she brings her kid is that not the same as Amitabh bringing his kid ??

Yes a transitional phase when old stars retire or become jaded or take breaks and new ones are yet to find their groove.

Like 80s, early 90s or early 2000s.

I remember Khans and even Hrithik giving underperformers in 2002 (except Devdas). And newcomers like Zayed Khan, Esha, Fardeen, Kareena, Abhishek etc not doing well either.

Vivek showed promise in Company and Saathiya but ruined it with fights with Salman.

Current newcomers lack charisma and connect or have so so script choices. Their biggest weakness is being more known for antics online or offscreen life and less known for own work on on-screen.

I wonder about content of Bollywood. No more conventional films like KNPH, QSQT, DDLJ, Gadar, Ghayal but nothing like TZP, RDB, CDI, Swades, Kahani either.

The period films are also mostly crap or lazily copy scenes from Jodha Akbar, Mughal e Azam or Bajirao Mastani.

I am fed up of remakes of even recent decades songs. No freshness or originality.

How does Kjo shove Alia down the audience's throat?

This I have read so many times. This complaint is very popular in the forum. But I want to understand. How?

Alia has done a total of 14 films, 1 of which came recently on OTT. Kjo is not the only filmmaker we have in the industry to whom we expect to give all films, or can we see BIG Films?

Alia did 9 out of 14 films which were Dharma productions, but this isn't new or the first time some production house has done anything like this. We have so many actor-directors and actor-production houses doing films.

We have SRK doing the majority of his films with YRF/Dharma. Wasn't that shoving SRK down the audience's throat?

Bluntly speaking Sushmita has used her adopted kids for own self promotion. She did a huge favour by paving way for single moms to adopt kids in India as earlier law did not allow it. But why keep bringing girls to ramp shows or Simi's talk show when they were minors still?

Nepotism was there everywhere. Nutan had posed with Mohnish for cover of Filmfare when he was just a toddler. Kareena, Karishma, Mimoh, Sunny, Bobby, Abhishek, Shweta had given interviews to Filmfare in 80s itself when they were still kids or teens. Why silence then?

And why not cry nepotism when outsiders like Sushmita bring own girls to talk shows or ramp shows or get them work in acting or modeling or Sushmita is also launching her brother in showbiz?

Why has outsider Kangana hired only her brother and sister in production house? Why outsider Anushka also hired only her brother in her production house? Why outsider Aishwarya Rai brought her brother Aditya as a producer in her first home production Dil Ka Rishta?

Why do these outsiders also clamour to bring family in showbiz or marry industry kids or celebs to raise own profile? Like Akshay always ran after industry girls like Raveena and Twinkle and finally settled with Twinkle and boasts of being Rajesh Khanna's son in law?

Why outsider Aishwarya also looked for BFs within industry or from big film families rejecting all other proposals she got from even billionaires all over the world?
