Other ITV bahu's have more self-respect than Sai.

I dont see too many other ITV bahus that have taken the decision to walk out despite having a baby involved! There are shows like bhagyalakshmi and KB where the ML is married to two people, or actively having an affair but FL is with them. There is KKIS which had bigamy. So in my limited TV knowledge and viewimg experience Sai is incredibly strong. I can relate only to her although her circumstances are extraordinarily toxic and she has a lot of emotional baggage and no security. It saddens me to see victim bashing and shaming.

How I wish they show that, but this show is recreated by narcissistic brains, that combined with offscreen complexity has made this show an unredeemable mess.

I wish they show some repercussion of actions like in bold part. Or atleast they end on a high moral note of showing Sai n Virat being separated.

nakshi katha is about inter religion marriage..its about how a muslim girl adjust in a hindu family..there was a phase the hero actually marries the vamp and the heroin is al presumed dead but actually vamp tries to kill her..Heroes mother is like BK who never accepts her daughter in law and always sides the vamp..the heroin looses her memory and lives in another hidu family..later she marries their son..By the time hero realizes his mistakes its too late..Eventually he dies..

You see the mother pays the price of for ego and arrogance..She looses her young son..and the FL lives happily with her new found love..

Sai is not a victim. She is a doormat. I can't stand with such people who tolerate all the crap bcoz bhala hai bura hai jesa bhi mera pati mera devta hai. She has become blind in love. She is a doctor

education has nothing to do with abuse and how a person feels/reacts. there are enough cases of abuse happening in case of well-educated women. and unlike blatant physical abuse or dowry etc this situation is of emotional abuse. its harder to recognize and call out even for the victim. If she was beaten or a victim of marital rape it would be easier to recognize what is happening as abuse but having disagreements, fights and feeling disappointed in your spouses' decisions and not liking or getting along with several your spouses family- these are not uncommon in even "normal" households. So at what point does it become abuse- that is difficult to determine especially when you start to get used to it. When you are emotionally involved, have a baby with a man you are married to for several years, when you are "in love"- you cannot be so objective and practical- you give benefit of doubt, you do get taken for granted, you recall the positives and try to start afresh... and when the conditioning of the society you live in has forced the narrative to be woman adjusts, compromises- its incredibly difficult for someone to just up and leave. she is not yet a doctor- she is an intern. she has no financial or emotional stability, has a newborn child- yet she is doing her best on the circumstances. thats a tale of courage not of being a doormat. I personally find the assessment that she is a doormat to be extremely harsh and unfair. Sai on the contrary despite has had the courage to speak out against what she doesnt agree with while still walking the tightrope and not abandoning her husband and his family entirely but not staying completely mute either like Ashwini or others may have done because they were a different generation. She has taken a stand for herself and others and will continue to do so when she is shown leaving the house with her baby boy. yes, the content being shown in terms of what Sai has to endure is way too OTT and negative but Sai has been the only character whom audience can relate to.

Oh even karmik justice like that would do wonders in Ghum. But they love showing evil wins. See PL will get everything she wished for in name of her fate.

In old times those narratives of karmik justice brought back people’s faith in being good human beings. If not the person, higher powers will make you suffer for your actions.

ITV has always tried to propagate anti woman content.
They started with subtle FL abuse in name of promoting strong family values, but families had one or two negative people. Not criminals.

Then they started n promoting incorporating third angles, crimes n slowly started promoting crime n bigamy in name of love n family.
Now it has gone a step further and their agenda is to promote incest.

I am amazed that thete is no regulation on ITV which has highest audience reach in country.

Well it seems like Ghum is lost cause. The cast is happy with content or doesn’t care. Some gets money n ‘personal’ benefits, some gets money, sympathy n fame. Side cast earning money n some exposure. TRP audience watch ep by ep n forget.

Its just us who r stupid n involved expecting something sane to be shown. Only (online) audience
is at loss. 😒

PS: I completely drifted from topic but I had to rant.

Watched today's episode thinking its after leap but got triggered again, BIG TIME. I have expected separation of Sai from both Virat and their child, and Sai bringing up other child as her own. What I didnt expect was P's pardafash, because I thought V will be the cause, as always, and P will be the trigger again. So I watched the previous episodes and everything is out in open, including P's intention towards V. Then why is the Chavan's hell bent on getting P bailed and back in the house that BK said she doesnt mind Sai leaving but not ghar ka chirag? The same person who didnt mind Sai being kicked out in the middle of the night even at the cost of being gossip material of the neighbors for getting Devi married back to Pulkit? Didnt both P and BK went to PS just to taunt Sai when she was wrongly accused? I can still take it that BK want to bail P because she was also involved but back in the house after she admitted everything and again putting ghar ka chirag at risk? There are proofs and P herself admitted then why are they so concerned about bail and getting P back in CN. And BK arrogantly declares herself as the sole decision maker of the house after all the wrong she allowed to happen. O God, when will these people learn their lesson?

Coming to P, I am still on two minds about her. Her love for V came back alive after Samrat's thervi, will this 'enlightment' stay for long if she was bailed out so soon? If she had the chance to get Vinu or even V, she might go down the wrong path again. She needs to get punishment. Sai was right in not taking back the case and against bailing P out as a mother. Also her not wanting P back in the house ever, even after jail. The woman who was ready to move forward with Samrat, jumped back to 'I love V' after his death. Then how can she trust P will not come back at Vinu?

V went off on P about attacking Sai and putting his child's life at risk in the morning. By evening(?) he doesnt mind getting P bailed and back in the same house as his wife and child. Because some people in the house wanted to? Sometimes I really want him to be selfish and think about his child and wife before his family. I can understand his anger when Sai said she will take Vinu away. Sai herself wants Vinu to live in CN around his family, just not in the same house as P. Its just like bahu vs doctor on their remarriage day, and again he chose the wrong answer. But his last dialog just made me want to strangle him. I so want all his hurtful words come back to bite him big time. His trait of saying these hurtful words to Sai in anger is really getting on my nerves. Before P was arrested, she apologized to V and begged BK, but not to Sai who she wronged. And they expect Sai to be cool about it?

If the boy with P in the promo is Vinu and in CN then I cannot imagine what Sai will go through separated from her son, her zindagi. BK said she will never forgive P and will punish her. All Sai wanted was P far way from Vinu and it seems like they did exactly opposite of it. What kind of justice is this? They will have to pay heavy price, but hopefully not at the cost of Vinu.

Watching back last episode it seems like our complaints to IBF did have an effect. The surrogacy is illegal and Virat is suspended. But I am in no mood to celebrate.

I am curious how the accident will play out. Both Sai and Vinu survived, but only Vinu is found while Sai is declared dead for Chavan's? Does that mean it will be the opposite for Sai? If the girl in the promo is Sai's child, then Sai should not have been seriously injured. Hopefully Sai will be serving as a doctor for the underprivileged just like she wanted.

Sai doesn't want a criminal near her child.this is absolutely correct.but my point is who is not criminal in chavan niwas.they are the culprits of honor killing, giving wrong medication to devi for years, sending a child to orphan ,kidnapping, sheltering a Naxalite and list never ends. But here Sai loves so much this stupid family and all are best family together .

If this is no hypocrisy and then what is??

Sai doesn't have parents also where she can just take her kid and walkout. She has to find a job, settle, find a house and so many things. When she goes for work, someone has to take care of the baby.

It's so difficult managing alone. And people don't rent houses to a single mother easily.

It's.too difficult for her to just walk out.

At home also she can't stay and watch someone else parenting her child. It's a very messy place to be in.

If she accepts everything, she will be worse than Ashwini also.

Feel for her even if it's fiction.

She wants the child to have both parents affection also. She is the last person who wants to take the kid and walk away.
