Karan Johar/Dharma let both the newcomers down with this shoddy work by a newcomer director handed over this debut film without proper mentoring.

If Karan had stuck to the initial idea of making Boman Irani's son's debut movie Sarzameen also Ibrahim's debut movie (skipping the quick low budget college movie for OTT), the reception of Ibrahim as an actor would have been better, imo.

When is he going to admit he is awful and should quit doing movies?

With a badly made OTT movie and a more decent directorial debut movie only, he seems to have just started to make the experience what it means to enact a character. He certainly needs to work (hard) if he wants to sustain.
