Twitter trended for more than 7 hours trending with a total of 20k+ tweets with the tagline

VIDROH FOR AMAR VIDROHI

as a tribute and a notion to Savi, that it wasn't him that was the problem and that he was loved by many if not all. the highest trend position was 12.

Well done Twitter. The character as well as the actor deserved respect.

This has been the highest number of tweets ever made for anyone in Maddam Sir history! The highest previously being 15.7K for Haseena Mallik. Not only that, this tagline trended alongside other huge trends like Tejasswi and Kanwar and some Bollywood celebs. So achievement indeed.

I also got to know that this was Savi/ Amar's first trend ever and it was a success. Good for him that he is getting exposure on other platforms too 😳

I can't say anything about that. It's all upon the makers I guess. the point of this trend was to lift Savi's disheartened spirit and let him know that he was accepted and loved for his character. However, Kinnari has seen almost all the stories about the trend's success on Insta. So anything g is possible. It is still better than asking them to bring in a dead man's character. The success of this trend has ruffled a lot of feathers on Twitter.
