What Ranbir is creating doesn’t look like fire. It’s light and that’s why there are multiple hues. If it was fire, it would burn orange and destroy the forest around him. It won’t be fun for his character to prance around then.

As per this glimpse, I think his character is literally playing with light, a divine light that may or may not have the capacity to burn. It may be happening in his dream or he suddenly discovers that it’s not just fire that he can manipulate 🤔

I was intrigued by the premise of Astraverse and had intended to give it a shot, but after watching all the latest sneak peeks, I have reconsidered my decision.

This seems like every other ‘Man-child Ranbir on a self-discovery quest’ flim 😒

Ranbir & Alia’s acting seem to be worse than usual here .

What is the meaning of that dialogue 😲 kehna kya chahata hain

And what is difference between bramhastra this song and YJHD regular songs ??? As old man-child in search of oneself 😵

In the gehraaiyaan review , bharadwaj rangan said the dialogues sound like they are thought in English and translated to Hindi …most zoya Akhtar films are like this too

Those were mostly urban films so it’s excusable there

But this is supposed to be seeped in our culture and about Indian mythology …I’d expect more prowess in the dialogues and command over the Hindi language here

Otherwise those shots of benaras , temples and pooja etc are just tokenism

Even this song is shot like “ilahi mera jeeeayeeayee” …typical ranbir self discovery breaking free song …

My hopes for this movie are going down with each trailer. May be their target audience is kids, otherwise what’s the reason for such ridiculous dialogues.

Ranbir and Alia are trying to portray Hrithik-Preity innocence in KMG but it doesn’t work here. Hrithik character Literally childlike mind, here grown ass man is acting like a child that too for the hundredth times. Alia is portraying her real life character, star struck by everything that Ranbir does
