Why are they using "chaddis" in recent promotions? Did they really believe that it would be humorous and beneficial for promotions?

I mean, I know that the audience did enjoy Nawaz's chaddi dialogue, but how you deliver the scene really makes a difference.
Just saying "chaddi" won't make a scene funny.
