Imli broke my heart today. Imlie lost her will to live and fight when she lost Aryan and she blames herself in her heart for losing both him and Cheeku. Hence she came back to her hellhole of a village, gave up on her education and dreams of becoming a big city journalist. Like she had once claimed to Aryan, she always had her fire but she got her strength from him. Whatever is left of her fire is enough to fight for other people and Cheeni but not enough to fight for herself. I wonder how many times over the last five years, Meethi had to give her strength to fight but it never lasts for long. Hence, she lives in abject poverty, being abused by the villagers on a daily basis.

I also wonder if in the darkest recess of her heart, she is waiting for Aryan to come and rescue her, as he had so many times before.

My headcannon for the village is some people in PD are nice to her but majority are not. Not really unrealistic since five years back, only some women of the village had put up her face on the hoarding. Majority probably back then still thought she was not anything special. They kept their mouth shut since Imlie was scaling new heights in a big city and was married to a rich man but now, they feel like they can torment her all they want since Imlie is back in their special little hell and won't fight back.

Malini and AC make me sick. How are they so smug? The fact that AC can even think about marrying her rapist of a daughter to freaking Aryan Singh Rathore is offensive to me. Does she really think ASR is on the same level as Malini? He was too good for Malini, even back when Malini was a goody two shoes.

Why won't the writers let someone from the Rathore clan put them in their place? Why are Narmada and Arpita so accommodating with them? Malini keeps harping about being partner at BT but Aryan must have partnership with other people too in his other business concerns. Do those partners waltz into Rathore mansion on a daily basis? Then why is Malini allowed to do so?

Narmada got sick in their presence yet none of them, not even Sundar, thinks there was anything nefarious going on. Sundar has seen AC and Malini in action enough times. I have noticed how audience spends less time watching Imlie compared to other shows which affects the trp negatively. So audience only watch the Arylie scenes and move on. And why wouldn't they? Rathores just stand around, being pushed about by Malini and AC. The writers need to give them something to do. Why not let them deal with AC and Malini? Might affect the viewing time positively.

Episode was depressing. But imlie’s breakdown didn’t make me sad. Pata nahi kyun. It felt like she is sulking in self pity.. so not imlie like. What is the point of raising cheeni in a toxic environment like PD? This nanhi si jaan is subjected to same insults that imlie faced. Makes me wonder if cheeni was better off given away for adoption. Sorry for the rant. My heart broke for little miss sugar than imlie today.

Of course Cheeni would have been better off if she had been put up for adoption. Imlie is using her as her crutch to live. Imlie has tried her best and it shows in how spunky and kind and strong Cheeni is. But Imlie is broken, the same way Aryan is. They both can't look past their pain and see how it's affecting the people around them. If Imlie had been thinking right, she would have found a way to get the Tripathis or kangaroo-lover take Cheeni. But she didn't - because she needs Cheeni to survive and not the other way around. Cheeni gives her a reason to wake up in the morning. Is that healthy? Hell no. It's as bad as ASR's midnight fights. But it's all part and parcel of their epic, once in a lifetime lovestory and I am here for it.
