They have ranveers image on it so they are talking about ranveer, and what an insulting thing to say. I understand if people didn't like the pictures, fair enough, but attacking his character like this is way over the top.

Anyway people have attacked him for wearing clothes aswell, so tbh this is nothing different to the reactions he usually gets

Tbh I dont think it backfired, it was obvious that the pics would get some extreme reactions, I mean he is posing without his clothes, ranveer isnt stupid that he would think it would get unanimous love, he has seen the trolling he gets for just wearing clothes.

But yes it got alot of attention and publicity, and there were also alot of people who supported ranveer for doing this aswell. The pics got 2 million likes on his insta, thats alot more than he gets for his usual insta pics, it got 13k likes on twitter, and ranveer posted them a day after he saw the reactions when paper magazine posted them. If it completely backfired he wouldn't have posted them

Log ka issue ho gaya hai ki they are looking for a social cause everywhere jab you are asking about the audience he is looking for, ye uske clothes aur body ya photoshoot par question hai hi nahi
