I think they miscalculated with this cover. This cover would have worked back when his star was on the rise, now it looks desperate

Its freedom of art and expression, and why do they need to have a family image? Not every film in bollywood is a family film, varun did a badlapur which was a very aggressive film and had sex scenes in it, Deepika did gehraiyaan which was about an affair, and this is just a photoshoot of him sitting on a carpet lol.

Ranveer did this photoshoot before jayeshbai jordaar even released, its now been more than 2 months after the film released, if he wanted to divert attention he would have released the photoshoot immediately after the film released

Publicity. People have only been speaking about Ranveer for the last couple of days. If the attention had been positive, it would look like a genius stunt. Kind of like his roast. The idea made sense on paper.
