I thought they were showing Cheeni-Imlie as siblings. They made her mother.

We've seen Aru's pining for Imlie, I hope they show us Imlie's side on Monday. They way there bond was they should show Imlie is also struggling with life but trying to focus her energies on her work to forget Aru. They are always lazy when it comes to show about Imlie. Though she found hope in gudiya but still Aryan was her whole life.

Also, Is cheeni cured kya? Didn't she need BTs to survive.

Cheeni is aware of imlie not being her mother. Guy called her bin Maa-baap ki bachhi that's why cheeni called imlie as her "Amma-baba-friend" all in one.
