Tbh, i blame him too. If he only went by makers and didn't do background check on the show plot, ratings then he's also stupid. I dont even watch kkis but knew it was a goner looking at TRP n fact that they weren't even included in rwsp.

Hilarious bit, there was news of nima show getting over like two months back, even sbs mentioned the same, making the news more authentic..... Iqbal also went for another show, BUT nima is still going strong.

Kind of forced correctness in having the relationship between the leads .... Clearing things up with the other female an proceedings would have saved the show.....

Then, vankar spl, the bua character was giving full fledged freedom to go in honeymoon instead of breaking it up with akriti first...... Flag bearer of problem relationship this vankar guy

Ghum is same shit sequence only, the top two show and good trp for such a long time has covered up for its shit...... The recent complaint have brought the show some bad light and also the trp went down...... If the show starts being sensitive and sensible with the story, bachh sakta hai.... Else anything can happen....

The kamna show had similar set up of affair outside marriage, but the show made sense and everyone involved, including the child did good acting and agreeable story progress.... Over the top, yes but better..... But even that is ending.... Such is ITV

Kamna is also a remake of a pak show and it's on Sony which already do not have much viewership.. That show didn't glorify ema but it was called out..

Over here in Ghum makers are continuously glorifying illegal content.. They should keep aside trp sometimes and think morally.. I equally hold star plus responsible in this.. It's them who approved such illegal content in both shows..

Woh hi.. i said..... Kamna had it's flaws, but went with its flow..... I could agree with the lady leaving her husband and child for money ..... She was shown like that from start..... Characters stuck with the story properly......

Yes sadly our opinions are taken as troll.. They might have given such juvenile explanation to the channel as well that we don't like surrogacy track because aish is Neil's wife..

That's why I'm keep saying no point calling out the real couple because some of the logical voice will go unheard..

Absolutely agreed.

The problem is not in showing something illegal, problematic or immoral even.

Affairs, infidelity, abusive relationships, conservative families, adjustment issues, compromises, spouses having past relationships, insecurities , fertility issues- all of these are fair game and good subjects.

They are universal things that people can relate to whether or not they have gone through the situation.

The issue arises when

1. instead of simply showing things, the makers show something thats clearly illegal as being ok and glorifying it.

2. Lack of "justice". People don't wanna watch a tv show to see evil triumph.

3. Poor casting, or poor performances by some actors.

4. Illogical Plot with poor arc.

Thus whole surrogacy drama would have been way more palatable if V had been in the dark through out and consistently objected to pp just like Sai and if there was some emotional intimacy between Sai and V, addressing important issues between them. Then we'd tolerate pp being ab obsessive vile person coz we would have something to root for- Sairat and eventually truth coming out.

But ghum glorifies negative, toxic stuff and forgets to appropriately address negative actions by punishment. They have memory lapse about important issues.

Even something as basic as how long its been since Sairat marriage is not clear.
