But the problem is, in his peer group, almost every actor is "trying different things", so it is not something special - for example SRK doing negative, grey roles at the starting of his career would be called something special because no one else was doing it at that time. But in Ranbir's generation of actors, everyone is mixing up big budget movies with character roles. Heck even Varun has done it with Badlapur and October. Then Ranveer has done Bhansali roles, Gully Boy

Releasing 1 movie every 1-2 years is not going to make you a superstar or even a star

Guy is super intelligent in talk shows in the way he articulates his thoughts and everything, He looks dashing and sharp when he dresses well like a man. He comes across sophisticated and nice when he is not licking eveyone's feet and going all chum buttering them.

But will he stop with his ridiculous offscreen persona...no I don't think so

I don’t mind him being extra and high energy as this is what this generation of actors need. Most are boring and take themselves way too seriously. This is BW, we don’t need to have only Oscar worthy films/actors. He embodies what a hero is. My issue with him is that he takes it too far sometimes and it takes away from his talent. The way he’s nailed roles/accent/body languages of his characters (Bitoo, Bajirao, etc.) no other actors of his gen has done as well. He also acts much dumber than he is. He actually did study and is very articulate and creative. I wish he’d channel his energy more as I also get tired of him sometimes.

His ‘no PR’ PR is on an overdrive, damn! 😆 Calling the Khans fading stars, no mention of Hrithik and Ranveer (his closest competition this decade)… chalo dekhte hain, lol

WUS, Tamasha, YJHD, Barfii, rockstar, these are his hits/well known flops and I can’t for the love of humanity see the versatility that this article is so overly pushing n emphasizing 😆😆

Why does he want to though? In his decade of films, he's had some hits and the floppiest of flops, and yet despite that he's always had projects lined up for him. He's never had to worry about not having work. That's the benefit of being Ranbir Kapoor. So why switch now.

More than anything, his films consistently being delayed is what actually hurts him

General question to everyone but does Ranbir play a hand in producing/developing films? A lot of his films (even pre-pandemic) end up being delayed. Common factor in all of them is him. Unless the filmmakers/friends involved are just that disorganized and can't get their timelines figured out
