Moveover Deepika and Sonam here comes 'Anushka Sharma'

Finally, the speculation and conjecture over the identity of the female lead of Yash Raj Films' Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has ended. Model Anushka Sharma will rub shoulders with Shah Rukh Khan in Aditya Chopra's next film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

Says Yash Chopra, "We were looking first and foremost for someone who could truly embody the spirit of small town Punjab and we know we have found her in Anushka Sharma. And while she has no previous acting experience, we have seen that unique spark in her that makes us confident that she will be a standout even opposite Shah Rukh."

Anushka is a 19-year old Bangalore girl who always wanted to be a model. "I can't see myself doing anything else," she was once quoted as saying. She was picked as Wendell Rodrick's finale model at the last Fashion Week. Since then Anushka has done quite a few product campaigns.
