Chapter 7: New look, same Tashan

PAPA…… Anubhav turns behind and look at the little girl who is holding his legs. Suddenly a woman comes running, She stop in front of him and says: Sorry who meri beti ko lagaa aap uske Papa woh aapne aur uske papa ne same shirt color pehna hi na isliye.. Sorry.

Anubhav gets sad thinking what if her daughter was with her. Meanwhile Ridz even after spotting Anubhav, she turns towards Rasika Bua to say that she saw Papa and by the time she points where, Anubhav has already left from there. Anubhav reaches home and is a bit disturbed, but Champ tries to cheer him up and says

Champ: Chachu aap akele akele bahar Gaye, mujhe yaad bhi nahi kia.

Anu: sorry champ chal mein tuhje bahar ghuma ne le jaata hu, jaa ready ho jaa. Bhabhi please aap ise ready kar dejiye.

GG leaves from there leaving RV in sweat rolling down his forehead. She reaches home and tells everything to GB.

Here Anubhav have stopped for the ice cream and Ridz and her helper is also present there. Champ Accidently pushes Ridz ice cream and it falls down while Anubhav is attending a call when Champ and Ridz fight

Ridz: tumne meri ice cream gira di, Aandhe ho kya dikhai Nahi deta kya. Four eyes hai tumhari phir bhi nahi dikhai deta kya.

Champ: Sorry who mein na fall karne wala tha aur meri wajahse tumhari ice cream gir gayi. Aur tumhe chashma nahi hai toh mein kya karu, mujhe kyun itna bol rahe ho.

Ridz: Ek toh meri icecream gira di aur mujhe hi sunaye jaa raheho, Crazy Chashmish kahi ke.

Anubhav hears Crazy chashmish and stops talking on the phone and stare completely blank at the mirror in front of him.

Champ: Tumne mujhe crazy chashmish bola, toh tum bhi crazy monkey ho.

Ridz: tumne mujhe monkey kaise bola, crazy chashmish, ek toh meri icecream gira di aur upar se mujhe suna rahe ho.

They are about to continue when the helper comes and interferes in between and takes Ridz with her to get a new ice cream as soon as they leave Anubhav reaches besides champ and ask him

Anu: Kya hua, itna gussa kispe a raha hai? Kya hua mere laal tamatar.

Champ: Chachu woh ladki mujhe Crazy chashmish bola and he hering the word he remembers GG. Chachu aap na use jaakefight karo, usne mujhe chashmish kaise bole aur who bhi crazy. Chachu.. Chachu kya hua kaha kho gaye aap.

Anu: Kuch nahi chal aise kisi se ladai nahi karte hai, tune ice cream kha li na toh ab ghar chale.

They reaches home, champ is still angry and when they go in GC ask him what happened.

GC: kya hua chota bheem, why is your face red in anger.

Champ: Golu dadu, woh ek ladki ne mujhe Crazy chashmish Kaha aur jab maine yeh chachu ko bola toh woh chup reh gaye.

Here Ridz reaches home and she is also angry when GG ask her

GG: kya hua nani maa, why is your face red in ager.

Ridz: woh ek boy ne meri ice cream gira di aur mujhe hi suna raha tha. Crazy chashmish kahi ka

GG hearing the word, freeze same way as Anubhav freezes both GB and GC original gang look at respective people and their mute button gets on.

GC: Yug, neeti isko room mein leke jaao. And he goes to Anubhav and ask him if he okay

Anu: Aaj pata nahi, par bahut ajeeb cheeze ho rahi hai. Aaj mall mein kisi choti bacche ne muhje hug kiya aur papa kaha.

Ankit: Kya????

After Anubhav leaves when Yug comes down, seeing GC and Ankit in tension goes to them and ask

Yug: Chachu kya hua? Aap dono aise kyun tension mein khade hai. Kuch hua hai kya?

GC and ankit tells the incidence and thye call GG

GG: Ha chachu kya hua, and they narrate the whole story, when GG replies Chachu Aaj Rasika di aur Ridz bhi mall gaye the, par woh log Anubhav se nahi mile, aur abhi Ridz aur Shweta Ice cream palour gaye the..

GC: Waha crazy chashmish wala scene hua, haina?

GG getting confused: Ji, par apko kaise pata?

GC: kyunki jisse Ridz ne fight ki na woh Champ tha, aur who Anubhav ke saath waha tha.

GG: WHAT???? Anubhav waha tha??? Par ridz na Shweta Anibhav se mile.

GC: woh Ridz ke jaane ke baad waha aaya tha, aur Jabse Crazy chashmish suna hai na, woh udaas ho gaya hai, abhi maine use room mein bheja. Dekh waqt aa gaya hai ki hum use parivaaraur Anu se milaye.

GG sees GB and Rasika di coming down, woh ishaara karkeunhe apne pass bulati hai aur phone speaker par rakhti hai.

GG: Chahchu, bua aur Rasika di dono yaha hai aur sun rahe, Aap kya keh rahe the?

GC: Hum yeh keh rahe the ki Anu ko ridz se milane ka waqt aa gaya hai.

GB: Agar Ridz na mane toh?

GG: toh joh ridz chahti hai wohi hoga, I am not going to force her.

Yug: theek hai hum gahr pe kal subah baat karte hai, baad mein Baaki sabke baare mein soch lege.

Next Morning GC gang is all tensed as to how to break the news. They are all nervous and eyeing each other to speak when BP sees them

BP: Kya hua, tum teeno aise kyun ek dusre ko dekh rahe ho.

Goli Bua: Aur tum Golu, Aaj kuch alag lag raha hai Kuch huahai kya?

Divya: Wohi toh mein bhi subha se puch rahi hu Didi, par kuch bata hi nahi rahe hai, itna kaha ki sabko ek saath batayege?

Badi Maa: Golu, kuch toh bol kya hua hai? Sab yahi puch rahe hai kabse.

GC: Badi Bhabhi batata hu, pehli sab ko aa jaane do? Neeti ja dekh Anu kahah hai.

Neeti: Ji Chahchu, mein dekhti hu and goes from there.

After sometimes Anu comes down and sees all looking at GC gang with inquisitive in their eyes. Anu looks at them and try to read their faces. GC ask him to sit down for Breakfast.

GC: Woh hum teeno ko kuch kehna hai aap sab se, aur Anu yeh teri liye important hai.

BP: Bolo kya kehna hai?

Yug: woh…. Woh Ankit batayega, Ankit tu bol

Ankit: mein kaise bolu, Chachu aap baat kijiye na.

Anu: joh bolna hai jaldi bolo muhje jaana bhi hai. He gets up and starts to walk when GC speaks

GC: Gungun Lucknow mein hai… Anubhav hearing her name stops and turns towards Chachu. Woh log kal hi wapas aaye hai, Woh hospital ki investigation ke liye.

Finally Anu gets to know that gg is in Lucknow 😍😍

Chapter 8: Happy Father’s day?

Anubhav: Woh log???? Matlab aur kaun???

Everyhouse members gets up hearing this and Anubhav has tears in his eyes, her daughter is in the same town as him. Meanwhile BP and BM are shocked listening Rasika’s name

BM: gets emotional and says Rasika, Gungun ke saath kaise?

Yug: woh Maa…... Rasika Di pechle 4 saal se gungun ke saath reh rahi hai, woh Di aur Gungun aachanak mile the aur GG ne Yash Jiju aur Di ki bahut help ki aur Yash Jiju, GG ki Company mein uski help karte hai, aur filhaal woh Banglore mein hai aur Rasika Di Ridz ki Doctor hai, aur Garima Bua ke saath uskakhayal rakhti hai jab GG office mein jaati hai tab.

GC: Anu kal , Rasika Di aur Ridz Mall mein the, jab tujhe kuch ajeeb laga tab. Aur toh Aur……..

Anu: Woh ice cream shop mein bhi thi, Meine joh chant chashmish suna tha who meri beti ki Awaaz thi?

GC: Haa, woh aur champ hi the jisne fight kiya tha.

Anubhav has tears in his eyes and he folds his hands and pleads chachu: Chachu mujhe use milna hai, please mujhe meri beti ko dekhna hai, woh 5 saal hi ho gayi aur meine sirf uski bachpan ki tasveer dekhi hai, please Chachu mujhe use milna hai, baat karnihai, aur gale laga hai, use itna sssara pyaar dena hai. He goes to his father and says “Papa, meri beti aayi hai, meri Aulaad meri hi seher mein hai” “Maa, kal mujhe laga tha ki kuch alag hai, mein apni beti se miluga, uske saath kheluga, use itna pyaar duga ki 5 saal ki kaami kabhi mehsoos hi nahi ho” Sargam sees the excitement and tears in his eyes, and he sees that glimpse of old Anubhav in him today.

Sargam: Ha, mera beta sab karna, tujhe joh karna hai woh karna, theek hai.

Anubhav wipes his tears and sees that GC gang is a bit tensed, so he goes to them and ask them about his worries.

Anubhav stands numb hearing all this, he is too shocked to even think anything aur say when BP speaks

BP: ready hai ya nahi kya kya matlab hai, woh anu ki beti haiaur koi anu ko ruk nahi sakta hai use apne beti se milne ke liye.

Divya: Bade bhaiya bilkul sahi keh rahe hai, anu uska baap haiaur koi bhi use apni beti se milne ke liye nahi rok sakta.

GC: tum thodi der shant rahoji?

I am not going to force you like I explained you before, but I want to introduce him to you at least once but then the decision is upon you whether you want to go ahead and meet him or no. if you want to see him face to face I will call him tonight and you can see him. I know you have been talking to him in Delhi looking at his photo frame but baby looking at someone face to face and talking to them is very different than talking to the photo frame. the photo frame does not give you answers but face to face does you're still small to understand this but I just wanna make sure that I if I introduce you whatever is the next step I will not take without asking you and i'll make sure that your father also knows this. Are you ready for it?

Ridz: Mama, can I think about this and give you an answer after breakfast?

At RNH GG walks in when one of the officers who is investigating the case comes and gives her a piece of a metal, I need to figure out something about this wire which is bothering me, but I dnt have the experience and instrument to do that.

Raashi nods and leave from there and GG enters her father’s cabin, and she gets emotional seeing his chair, his cabin where she spends almost every day oh her growing up. She is disturbed by Rasshi’s knock and ask her to come in.

DM: Not bad a businessperson, you want your work to be done and if I would have said no you already had an offer I couldn’t refuse. But I can never say no to helping anyone so tell me what you need?

GG: the 2 experts in the field Dr Rastogi and Dr Anubhav Kulshreshth, I need their help for now and the later part we can meet again, or I can have a look at the project and we can move ahead as you like.

DM: they might be in lectures right now, we can wait for few hours or I can send them to your hospital.

GG reaches back to the hospital and Dean mam calls Anubhav and Dr Rastogi in her cabin and give them the order to go to the hospital to meet the team, meanwhile in bhatanagar mansion Ridz is in her room thinking about what her mom said and Bua saw her and asked

Anubhav and Dr Rastogi enters RNH and the front desk calls raashi to the front desk and she comes and receives them and is taking them to the room where the investigation is happening meanwhile, Gungun is also walking towards that direction looking on her phone and in the corner, she doesn’t see them coming and bangs into Anubhav and is about to fall but the iconic catch happens after so many years. They are looking int each other’s eyes, both not talking but their eyes like we say is saying so many things. 5 years’ worth of emotions. GG eyes still holds anger, which is her anchor, where else Anubhav eyes have mixed emotions- sadness, emptiness, happiness and all kinds we can name.

Raashi disturbs them by fake coughing and Anubhav helps her straighten up. Mam, this is dr Rastogi and Dr Anubhav as requested.

GG shakes her hand with both of them: Welcome, sorry had to call you on a such a short notice but I am extremely happy that you came out here, Raashi her will help you in any way you would like.

She is about to say something else when she sees Bua’s message and then as she is about to reply Bua calls her, GG signals Rasshi to take Mr Rastogi to the wing while Anubhav waits there, still observing her. She is scared too if Ridz is calling from bua phone, while Anubhav is there, but she picks up the call and sees that Bua is only there so she breathes a relief and says

GG: Bua, sab theek hai na kuch hua hai kya?

GB: woh Anubhav ko dinner mein kya pasand hai?

GG: Kya? Bua kya bol rahe ho aap? Mujhe kuch samaj nahi aa raha aur yeh sawaal aap mujhe kyun puch rahe ho?

GB: because Ridz said yes to your Question that’s why?

GG: Toh aap khud hi puch lijiye, ek minute and she walks towards Anubhav and hands her the phone.

Anubhav takes the phone and sees GB: Namaste Bua, Aap kaise ho?

Bua is a bit still Angry: Mein theek hu, maine yeh puchne ke liye phone kiya tha ki tumhe Dinner ke iye kya khana pasand hai, aaj dinner tumhara yaha hai isliye.

Anubhav: Bua, Dinner waha matlab? Mein kuch samja nahi

GB: who tumhe GG samja degi bas yeh puchna tha ki dinner mein kya khaoge?

Anu: Bua ap joh bhi hoga I am okay with it.

GB: Theek hai apne ghar pe bata dena ki aaj tum, Yug, Chanchal ji aur Ankit waha dinner nahi karne wale hai aur phone GG ko do please.

GG takes the phone from him, and say: you know this hospital well enough, 5 saal pehle bahut baar dekha hai, kuch zyada change hua hai, I am sure you will find your way to the hospital wings and leaves from there talking to Bua.

GG: Bua, how did ridz gets conveince so easily, who meri tarahhai stubborn how did you do that?

GB: Who sab chod Anubhav waha kya kar raha hai?

GG: Bua he is here to investigate the matter, his expertise is needed so. I know you worried about me but dnt worry I will handle myself.

GG walks towards the wing when she finds Anubhav still standing where he was earlier

GG: Is there a particular reason that you still standing here? Tumhari yaadash kitni toh kamzoor nahi kai ki hospital ka raasta bhul gayo?

Shaam ko dinner Bhatnagar mansion mein hai kyunki Meri betise tumharaa introduction karwana hai, isliye tum, GC, Yugbhaiya Ankit aur you bhaiya ka beta sirf tum log aa sakte ho. 8 baje time pe aa jaana, bhatnagr mansion ka address toh hoga hi tumhare pass, I dnt like people joh time pe nahi aate.

Anu: yeh tum keh rahi ho? Pata hai na, pehli baar tum late aayi thi café mein. IMAGINE THE FIRST COFFEE DATE.

GG: who wali gungun mein, aur aaj ki gungun mein bahut fark hai, jitne ho sake mujhse dur rehna warna mere badle ki aajmein tum zyada na jal jaao. Time pe aa jaana na, kuch baato kebare mein bhi baat karni hai lekin ghar pe.

Evening at Shanti niwas, everyone is gathered in the living room enjoying the evening tea, when Anubhav enters. He is about to go to his room when Golu chachu calls him

GC: tune Ghar pe bataya hai sham ke baare mein?

Anu: Nahi abhi wohi karne wala tha. He goes in between of the room and says “ Maa, aaj sham Golu chachu,yug , ankit , champ aur mein ghar pe dinner nahi karne wale.

BP: Kahi bahar jaa rahe ho?

BM: Aisa hai toh Khushi, chavi aur Neeti ko bhi leke jao. Sahikahe na? looking at BP

BP: Ha, bilkul sahi kaha, isi bahane who bhi ghum lege.

Anu: Nahi Badi Maa, hum bahar nahi Bhatnagar Mansion jaarahe hai Dinner ke liye.

Chandru: Bhatnagar mansion? Kyun?

Anu: Garima bua ka phone aaya tha, Gungun mujhe apni beti se milane wali hai isliye jaa raha hu. Dinner waha hai aaj aur humeaate aate late ho jayega. Mein ready hone jaa raha hu, mujhe late nahi hona hai.

The GC gang and Anu goes from there to get ready. While others are all still in living room. Bhatnagar mansion has different vibe all together, most of them by most I mean all of them are I tension as to how Ridz will react seeing Anubhav or how Anubhav will react. But mostly GB, Rasika is scared as to how GG will react in front of Anubhav? They both so engrossed in their thought that they dnt even realise that GG has come home, and she looks at them, questionably and ask them

GG: Kya hua, aise kyun baithe ho aap sab? Kuch hua hai kya?

Rasika: Kuch hua ka kya matlab hai, kuch nahi hua hai, nth, nth happened.

GG: Okay, toh baat kya hai.

GB: wih hum soch rahe the ki, tum Anubhav ke samne kaisereact karoji, I mean I know tum use office mein mili par ghar pealag baat hai isliye.

GG: Dnt worry mein zyada baat hi nahi karuji use, ignore karujiisse baat bhi nahi hogi hamari. Simple Aacha who log 8 baje aa jayege mein fresh hone jaa rahi hu, aur ridz se kehna jab takmein na kahu woh bahar naa aaye. Okay?

The GC gang reaches Bhatanagar house and they ring the doorbell. Both Anubhav and GG are very nervous and the screen freezes on their faces.
