Frieda's character is the reason for fued between two brothers, if the character was not supposed to be "too looking" Then that wouldn't have been possible😅

Gauhar and Nushrat are good performers, no doubt, but either they are lieing, salty, or were lied to. That being said, why dod this come up now?

In an interview, Nawaz confirmed that Danny Boyle rejected many Bollywood actors, male and female, because they looked too model-ish (my phrasing, but the gist was clear). He wanted people who could pass for ordinary Indians.

So she's probably telling the truth. Sort of. She might have been considered, then rejected because she didn't fit the part. She wasn't *1st* choice. She wasn't chosen at all.
