That’s kind of the point here. She would have competition if non Dharma talents got the same opportunities as her.

One thing I’m starting to notice in this discussion is that when people talk about Alia’s contemporaries they are thinking Ananya, Sara, Janhvi and that’s why the argument of “Alia has talent and delivers” seems so solid and prevent. But everyone ignores the Sanya, Farima, Radhika, Tripti etc. These girls are her contemporaries as well and have a lot of talent. But they are not getting the opportunities or marketing that Alia has been since Highway.

That’s true, in general the industry is in ruins. Good for alia, bad for business overall.

I’m not sure if sanya can do those big budget romances, tripti has a lot of potential but like you said no opportunity. Radhika has carved herself a niche, the issue lies with the Indian audience in that will they accept her in a ‘mainstream’ role.

At the end of the day, BW in general has no actresses left nor do they care as they keep indulging in the same cycle. Jhanvi and Sara have not shown any marked improvement in their acting, if they are the future then BW can kiss their success buhbye.
