Alia is an average actress. She has done those roles which suit her teen girl persona. She hasn't moved out of her comfort zone. No growth as an actress all these years. It's the same thing in all her movies. She still has flat dialogue delivery ( no emotions, no pauses, no voice modulation) and expressions are at best bearable. There is no emoting behind them. I think Alia peaked and this was her best phase.

Among all her performances she was good in highway , Gangubai. Didn’t watch udta Punjab so can’t say. Rest of her films are good but her acting is not that great. Comparing to Sridevi or next to her is laugh worthy . Comedy genre is difficult and Sridevi is pro in it and we are yet to watch alia doing it.
