Chapter 2

Present time.

And the motions of life goes on

With it, it brings the need to move

The broken heart cannot stay still

It has to keep beating even if it doesn't approve

With all the pieces and all the hurt

It has to breathe so it can survive

Because life goes on even if you want it to stop

Because despite wanting ruins you have to thrive...

Raavi was silently following the priest's instructions. She was in her own world as she took pheras around the fire, reminiscing about her first wedding with Shiva Pandya. And both their fates and his mistakes had failed their marriage. Raavi stepped out of the marriage finally because she had had enough, yet she had waited for him to call her back, apologise or at least explain himself. All she had gotten from him was a stiff agreement to divorce her. His easy acceptance to let her go had broken her completely. A month later, she had discovered that she was three month pregnant. Even though her periods were late, her test had shown negative. She was in so much stress that she thought it was due to that she wasn’t getting her periods. But when she finally consulted a doctor, she discovered that she was pregnant.

It was too late for them... His refusal to give her an explanation had already made her mind and now that they were divorced, she didn’t want to walk on the same path. Hence, even when the pregnancy was revealed, she didn’t think of going back. But she did feel upset when he did the same. He didn’t contact her. Didn’t even send her a message. He came when she delivered the baby... Aalaap, and requested her to allow him to meet their son, once in a while. She hadn’t begrudged him that.

It was later that she discovered from Kaaki that Shiva was just as excited as her but why he didn’t contact her was still a mystery.

Aalaap turned nine months recently and she had been pestered by her Maasima to remarry. She didn’t want to. She wanted to continue her studies and support her kid. She tried. She couldn’t. She was still thinking about him. She was still missing him. She was still wondering why he did what he did. She didn’t understand. She couldn’t concentrate anywhere. So she had dropped out within two months. She did not know what to do with her life anymore.

Her Maasima had sent her to her father’s side family. They stayed in a nearby town and were very well known in their town. A change of scenery had definitely helped her. She came to know that her Maasima had fought with everyone from her father’s side to keep Raavi with herself. She had loved her sister to the core and wanted at least a piece of her sister remain with her. Her Grandfather had allowed.

She had been very happy at her father’s place. And this was where she met Dheer. Dheer Adhvaryu was an amazing human being. He had his flaws but they weren’t considerable. He was respectful to the t and he was a very lovable man. But the thing that made her happy was his bond with Aalaap. He loved Aalaap like the baby was his own. And that was her undoing.

Before Raavi

Shiva had returned the day before yesterday and found his whole family waiting, except the woman he was the most eager to see. His Disha...

Shiva’s eyes had searched her everywhere but finally he turned to hear the Chipkali’s voice.

“Woh nahin aayi hai Bhoothnath... Uske exams chal rahe hain.” She told him with a voice that told him she was somehow irritated with Disha. Shiva frowned. What business did Raavi have to be irritated with Disha?

“Tujhe kaise pata?”

“Woh kal aayi thi Kaaki se milne...”

Shiva was stumped. She had come to meet his mother yesterday but couldn’t come today for just a few minutes to meet him? He was disappointed and it had showed on his face. Krish patted his back along with Dev, who side hugged him.

“Chal na Shiva! Baad mein mil lena! Filhaal to tu himse mil! Janta hai kotna miss kiya humne tujhe?” Krish pouted. Shiva chuckled along with Dev. Raavi smiled at the three. Somehow in the past five months, she had matured out of her love for Dev. She still liked him. But wasn’t very open in showing her like she was before. She still did things for him but it didn’t have that pompous announcements accompanied with them.

Shiva sat down with his brothers and mother and conversed with them as his Bhabhi fed him.

Raavi like this picture. She liked the complete family. Would he eat from her hand too if she married Dev? Raavi thought and then was surprised at the direction of her thoughts. What a silly reason to marry! Just so he would respect her after she became his bhabhi. Sometimes she surprised even herself.

Disha watched the waves hug the shore and then turned to see Aditya sit beside her.

“Kya socha hai tumne?” He asked her. She shook her head in daze.

“Mujhe nahin pata main kya karun! I wish he refuses.” She told him in a small voice.

“Till you don’t ask him to. I don’t think he will.”

“I just cannot trust him anymore. Woh itni door itne waqt tak reh ke aaya hai. Main kise maan loon ki wahan koi aur ladki ke saath involved nahin tha?” Disha questioned. He shrugged.

“Waise type hai nahin Shiva. Tum pooch lo usse.”

“Bas vishwaas nahin hai uspe.” She mumbled. Both of them turned towards the sea and watched the sun set.

Honestly i just don't have heart to continue reading this. Raavi marrying someone else. Nd Shiva' aalap bonding with Adhvaryu, it's just too much to take for a soft heart. But the story us intriguing with Disha confusing her bond with Shiva and doubting him. I just have mixed reviews about this ff...this double torture for #Shivi is hell heartbreaking..but still keep writing..✌🥺

I agree with the Comments above… very very heartbreaking to read about separated Shivi, but I like your writing style.

Really hope the wedding is stopped somehow and Shivi find their way back to eachother.
