I tried it but tuned out after 10-15 minutes. It's not my genre of films, but if you like adventure with stunts and CGI, it might be up your alley.
I believe I watched a hindi dubbed version on Netflix. Wasn't too bad

In the first scene I saw ram charan beating up a mob of about 1000 men with one stick... after that you realize to not take it seriously
I personally liked the movie
I watched 25 minutes and gave up! Bahubali 2 I can watch over and over !
I liked it a lot. I wasn't very impressed with the trailer but the movie exceeded my expectations.
Baahubali is folk tale about a fictional kingdom and the characters were inspired from Ramayan and Mahabharat and the story was also a combination of both.
But RRR is a fictionalised story of two people who really existed and their personalities and characters probably are very much similar to the way they were portrayed in the film despite the over exaggerated action sequences.
What kind of a person he or she has to be in order to rise up to a mighty empire with little or no resources? This question was addressed very well in the movie.
LIfe and times of Alluri Sitaramaraju and Komaram Bheem are the stuff that legends are made of. I recently saw an interview with a former Naxalite where he told how they used to narrate stories of Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem to the young school students to inspire them.
This movie is a fitting tribute to the legends from Telugu speaking states.
The reason why it found audience in the non Indian population is because apart from the entertaining elements it told triumphs and exploits of two real life heroes against a mighty kingdom.
Baahubali was watched only by Indians here and abroad but RRR is truly an international film which people from across the world could connect.
There is lot more o it than just stunts and CGI.

The movie was entertaining..usually m not a fan of action movies..all blood n gore..but this wasn't boring at all..
also stunts may seem OTT and unbelievable..but the truth is that Alluri Sitarama Raju was very powerful in real life..and he was known to be able to tame animals.. tribals have immense respect for him and consider him super powerful. Even his bday is celebrated as State Festival in Andhra.
and he used to dress up as shown in the movie..His statue is also similar
I know. I am from the land of Telugus. We had chapters in History on Alluri Sitaramaraju and Komaram Bheem. Of course the details were very sparse because nobody ever cared enough to research on these two heroes.
Atleast Rajamouli should be given credit for introducing these two heroes to the people beyond the borders of Telugu Land.Even if it is only through a fictionalised version.

I agree, to take two real life heros and make them meet and place them in the context of real history is amazing and it was well done, the details were excellent
for a change because of the fictionalizing we see them at their peak not when they die which is how most movies about feedom fighters are and it is just refreshing to see them win and stand up
regarding, their over the top abilities, I think rajamouli sees them as super heros or in a way gods in the form of humans (avatar), just as rama has super human ability as his god in human form

I hope we have more movies from every corner about more unsung heros, there is so much rich history
