It is pretentious crap, slb has deteriorated into that long ago, just that he is still better than average bw and low profile

Even the one scene that made an impact for me in devdas, the last with paro running is a full copy of bimal Roy’s devdas, exact scene

Actually the story line is inspired or copied from a Tamil movie (not sure if it is also copied from some other movie )

The editing was awful, the storytelling boring.

It lacked peps. Had SLB gone for a more classic style of storytelling,it might have worked.
