I hope so...

😊

Okay... I'll check it out because as it is, these days I don't have anything to watch and I can't continue with those comics every day. 😆

Mere wala hi dekh le bahen. 😉 Kam se kam discuss karne ke liye kuch to milega mujhe. 🤪 But on a serious note, Niyati's show I think will come at 7 pm and GSMI is right after that. Try FFing through Episode 13, 25, 34, and 35. If you are up for it, we'll finally have something common.

Honestly, that was another reason why my liking for the show reduced... Romance aside, I loved Anubhav's camaraderie with Karishma (Rahil with Yukti) too and I really liked his character, especially his way of speaking with the complex Hindi words and all. I quite enjoyed watching his scenes but I was so damn annoyed when they turned him negative and killed him off.

Understandably.

I get it that the actor might have wanted to quit. They could have given him a heroic ending considering that they showed him as an honest and diligent officer. But they chose to turn him negative... I hated that.

Precisely! Even if it's a business, a writer should have the least amount of liability for his/her creation. It's not fair to the character, actor, and the audience that after such amazing build-up they write them off as if nothing ever mattered. 🤬 🤬 🤬

Agle post mein karenge... Abhi zara inhi topics ko continue karte hain.

Hum-e intezaar rahega.

No you aren't because even I was in the same boat as you last year when the news of MHRW going off air came out... except for the fact that the show had already been ruined.

Well, here's the thing. MHRW was already butchered so your wish made sense. GSMI, even with its negative aspects is still quite good. The problem is that I can understand/relate to the leads' dilemma and why they are behaving in a certain way. But too much of anything is bad.

Like, as I said in my other reply ki FL ki rone se hi flood hone ki chances hain. 😛

Unlike the original show, here the FL didn't have a strong support system back in her hometown. In fact, people continuously insulted her since her father left her and her mother. So her subdued nature made sense.

Then again, Neel was the only person who treated her as an equal and quite literally saved her from the villagers from murdering her. Hence when she started falling for him, that also didn't seem forced. And now that they are married but Neel made it very clear that whatever he did was out of friendship, I understand why she has lost the remaining bit of strength. So I was okay with her rona-dhona.

Par agar aap har episode mein kisiko rote hue dikhaoge tab to yahi lagega na ki bahen ghar chod de bas rona bandh kar. 😛

The same goes for Neel. It wasn't out of his character when he married Kaju. From the beginning, he was shown as someone who knew how to differentiate between right and wrong and who would never shrug off his responsibilities. I absolutely loved it when he actually revealed to her girlfriend that Kaju was in serious problem and he suspected that he might have to do something drastic. So it's not like he betrayed either of the girls. The first thing he did after their marriage was to clear everything up and then assure Kaju that he would be there to support him emotionally and financially until she made a name for herself. For her security, he brought her to his home.

But my problem is, it seems like the makers themselves have forgotten that he overheard Kaju's conversation with another one of their well-wishers and learned that for her the marriage was real. When you know a person supposedly has some sort of feelings for you, how do you behave so casually with them? Even as friends, there should have been awkwardness. But it's like he has completely forgotten that conversation. As I was telling Madhura that out of the blue there was a romantic sequence. Even though it wasn't totally out of their character, I definitely was shocked by the sudden proximity.

To ab issi baat ka darr baith gaya hain. Ki kahi TRP ke chakkar mein jo realistic portion hain, uspe focus karne ki wajay yeh log na common tropes like jealous GF, kitchen politics, MU - yeh sab kachra dikhana start kar de. 🤔

Yeah, we did have a brief discussion about it and that was around the time the tracks were becoming a drag fest and both of us were about to quit.

The comic timing of the actors there is damn good. To be honest, I had specifically started the show for Yukti because I had loved her in one of her previous shows but I loved the acting of the entire cast.

That's really nice. smiley1 Which show was it?

I too didn't recognize him immediately after watching the Tamarind promo. I did find him familiar but recognized him when I saw a comment in the comment section addressing him as "Veer": his character in his Zee TV show. That was when I realized who he actually was.

His acting in Tamarind is really bad. I don't feel like watching him there. I loved his character in MDKD and have watched some of his ZeeTV show that 'Apna Time...' show. But I don't like his acting here so I stopped keeping tabs.

My opinion exactly! 😵

Now this is making me curious... I have to check now.

Itna bhi uchalo maat bahen. Kaafi ghatiya tha as per our taste. 😵

I hate that trope... I have had enough of those AYM MLs and the sweet innocent bubbly FLs. Ab aur nahi chahiye.

I rather prefer gentle and kind MLs. Fun character ho toh it is a cherry on top. smiley17

again, gonna refer you to my show. The ML here is really good and he is fun-loving.

Case in point... 😛

smiley37 smiley37 smiley37

I hope your Dil ke Armaan(s) get fulfilled in the next show(s) that you take up later on.

I am still kind of hoping ki issi show mein mil jaye considering they took quite a lot of references from the movie "Taal". And the movie had such an amazing rain sequence! Considering Kaju is the eternal dukhi-aatma and Neel always makes it a point to bring a smile to her face, I was hoping they utilized monsoon. 😳

Anubhav totally agree!! It was horrendous and writers should have some liability.

Btw Nikki is talking about, Maddam Sir only.

Also the way you narrated your show, it makes sense. It's so horrendous to show this random stuff and continuous crying, isse better they end it.

Oh they took reference from Taal? Then they should show some good content.

Merging replies from all three of your quotes ...

Yes, we did discuss. You discover shows a bit late, lol. Mood and time also play a part.

Baat to sach hain. 🤪 🤪 🤪 Jitne bhi acche shows dekhe, 95% off-air hone ke baad hi dekhe. 😭

Time and mood definitely play a huge role. But I guess another extremely important factor is that abhi bhi log zyadatar SP, Colors, Zee aur phir jake Sony ke baat karte hain. Aur jo so-called TRP topper shows hain, unke chakkar aur hype mein jo bachi-kuchi kuch acche ya different shows hain, woh nazar mein bhi nahi padhta. To most of the times woh aise by chance dekhne ko milte hain.

Like, if I compare GSMI and KQHAK, the first one is more drama/family-oriented. I wouldn't have gone through Madam Sir or KQHAK if I hadn't liked Pankhuri here. But if I have to be honest, acting-wise those two characters were more challenging and I thoroughly enjoyed her portions from whatever I've seen. 😊

Exactly, it was pathetic! Great your character got the right track.

Anubhav totally agree!! It was horrendous and writers should have some liability.

🤗

Yes, they did and there he acted decent.

That's good to know. 😊

Tamarind I totally agree with you, but hype show gets, lol.

Kuch maat kaho bahen! I still haven't recovered from the last clip you shared. 😛

Exactly very few shows handle sensitive topics well. I am yet to read and reply to your other reply.

Exactly! Koi baat nahi, aaram se reply karo, koi dikkat nahi hain. 😊

It's okay, to feel that way, don't go too hard too.

He wasn't one of them, but yes I sewhere felt love angle wasn't really needed, just a platonic relationship of helping and being grateful would be better. But hindi shows have to show leads love. Plus it wasn't even like he totally didn't know about it.

Thank you for being so kind dear! 🤗

But like you said, ek question rahe hi jata hain ki agar Abeer behosh nahi ho jata, kya woh still Amla ko chod deti ya phir apne dosto jaise harkat pe utar ati? You can never know the answer to that.

Sabse best yahi hota agar platonic ya grateful angle pe focus karte.

Dev I can understand since they wanted to portray what a rape victim goes through and not every fiance is so open-minded that they would stand by the girl after such an incident.

Par agar romantic angle dalna hi tha, I would have preferred Abeer not to be a part of the gang. It would be better if they had introduced him as a completely different person who was in love with Amla and chose to stand by her.

Anyways like I tell you my Mauli also would have been best not be with ishaan and find her dreams but they had to force it, means if someone helps you so you have to end up together. I just don't get this.

Oh yes! How can I ever forget that? 🤔 I hated it so much when they paired her with Ishaan. I was too stubborn to accept it at that time but now I feel, she did love Kunal till the end, whether he deserved it or not. And it's weird in a way but I feel she loved Nandini even more. I know it sounds weird but I think this quote from Grey's Anatomy might help when Mer told her best friend Christina that

"Derek may be my one true love but you are my soulmate."

We always tend to think our romantic partner to be our soul-mate but I believe it can be someone with whom you share a platonic relation or a friend even a family member. It's about how deep your connection is.

The way Mauli reacted knowing Nandini was no more and eventually accepted Pari, it was astonishing that she still loved her cheating friend that much.

So I always felt, Nandini was her first priority but as her romantic partner, no one could take Kunal's place either. It was sad but it was the truth. But the way they hailed MauHaan - it was unbearable.

You saw promo, that only was the look. Kuch bhi faltu, like I had told you that whole baby separation here was bullshit.

Agreed.

Exactly!! Agree with you, logon ne toh kya likha tha, I better not tell. Totally, acting should be good at least cos I can't expect too much sense.

No you don't. 🤪 Ek do comment padh ke hi bhag ke aa gayi. I think I would keep my distance from that forum for my sanity. But then again, hu to main Mo ki dur ke rishtedaar. 🤪 Kab daura padh jaye aur kab woha mu uthake chali jaoon, iska bhi koi guarantee nahi hain. 😛

Indeed, even I loved his scenes with karishma too, and team and friction.

🤗

That sounds great and indeed! Even I miss our detailed discussions. Agree on rain sequences totally.

Haan nazar one and separation. I saw one in my regional show, was really good.

That's really good. 😃

I was missing to see good rain seqs so much, I saw Taal seq, that movie definitely is one of my favs and had some great rain sequences.

You too! 😲

Hugs bahen! 🤗 🤗 🤗

I was only wondering this morning ki main tum dono se poochu iss movie ke bare mein aur discuss karu.

My opinion when I first saw it has changed drastically now and I like it even more at this point. 😃

Aap dono batao aap ka kya opinion hain total movie ko leke.

Guys, Which are your favorite rain sequences from movies and shows??

Hmm good question 🤔

As you said, the Taal song sequence.

Then, the song "Can I Have This Dance" from the movie "High School Musical 3".

The rain sequence from MATSH right after Ishaani gets out of jail and both her and Ranveer recall their fun moment in rain separately.

In recent times, a rain sequence from my regional episodic where the protagonists profess their feelings to each other.

Btw Nikki is talking about, Maddam Sir only.

Was she? I thought she started Madam Sir because earlier she had liked Yukti in some other show.

Also the way you narrated your show, it makes sense. It's so horrendous to show this random stuff and continuous crying, isse better they end it.

Thanks dear. Of course thoda logic to hoga na ke abhi bhi atke hue hain. 😜 But on a serious note, it's high time Kaju stopped crying and Neel took a firm decision. 😤

Also, I would be lying if I said for those two minutes I didn't enjoy the sequence because Ishhan and Pankhuri look really good on-screen. 🤭

But as a whole, I want them to introspect more and then proceed. That's how it has been so far and I really hope that the makers stick to that only.

Otherwise Neel will come across as a douchebag for playing with Pavitra's (GF) feelings. 🤔

Oh they took reference from Taal? Then they should show some good content.

Well, the Pahadi girl, city based boy who's a photographer and lives by his own rule itself is quite a bit like Mansi and Manav.

Then again there Mansi saved Manav when he was about to fall off the cliff. Here Neel saved Kaju from landsliding. But I guess it's quite generic.

Another similarity I found was when Neel left, he took Kaju's stole with him as a token.

And of course, they have used the movie's songs here.

Given the storyline of the show, there's a lot of scope for incorporation of the other songs or sequences from the movie. 😎

Lol, true.

Get your point, you go to shows seeing actors. With me, even if I like actors I rarely go back to see shows, aur start kiya bhi after four epis I quit, cos I don't have patience, lol.

Hugs!

Lol, clip, yes! Gul toh shows me kuch bhi bakwas dikha rahi hai, I better not even say. Her new show ka something popped and have no words. Better not to discuss her stuff

Thanks dear.

You are welcome! Agree to all things you said. Yes, he should have been another person and frankly it didn't fit. But then I haven't seen fully so idk.

Agree with ishaan part fully, it was forced down throats. Of course, always thought this. I never believed in romantic soulmates things, warna itna bromance pasand nahi aata, and bffs part.

Ofc mauli loved nandini a lot, and as a partner she truly loved kunal, and was never over them. Distancing them was right to take a stand and her mental piece.

As you quoted greys, shouldn't I quote amrit, who said to vashma, tum toh meri jaan hai aur randheer mera dil.

Even main bhaag gayi.

About your show reference okay, good.

Though don't mind, shows create movies very well but i love movies more at the end. Like og content or just preference. Don't get me wrong. But it's good you are enjoying show.

Ofc Taal is extra special for me, like why in general.. All my favorite elements, local part of india, trains, dog, photography, dance, music, rain, drama what else do we need, and the open discussions.

Tfs your fav rain sequences! Even I like the movie one you mentioned.

Btw in taal apart from title song nahi saamne Tu too is my favorite one.

My list ek do regional hai ofc.

Then movies, end of wake up sid, jab we met and quite a few movies.

Telly ofc matsh you mentioned and pre leap one, mayur seq..

Are, isme bura manne wali kaun sa baat hain? But ha, mera aisa koi specific preference nahi hain ki original hi hona chahiye ya shows hi hone chahiye. Kyunki as I said, certain plots and sequece to kai sare jaga repeat kia jata hain. To jab tak execution and acting good enough hain - I'll enjoy anything. 😎

Good morning!

Obviously actors one likes, lol. But yes kudos to your patience.

Arre that aashiqaans, isne toh ekta ko bhi piche chod diya hai to show FLs as some super women.

Also I was damn pissed, I follow a few music pgs and they generally edit on movies or song seqs par kal ek ph ne music edit ye faltu show pe banaya.

Yes, vashrit.

Ofc dear I know you, even I say this nothing is original but I have generally seen movies do rain sequences in a more real way, like I have randomly stumbled on so many songs and seqs seemed fresh and simple.

Shows tend to go too ott Or cheesy in this.

Also special mention to Akshaye Khanna cos many of his rain seqs are in my fav list.

Indeed a big list!

Agreed on other things. Mayur is mayank and nupur from miley jab hum tum.

Yes, am satisfied with the ending fully cos Manav and Mansi truly loved each other and many things. Am guessing you aren't.

Well that's true... She definitely will not be justifying the wrongdoings of the leads just because they are popular and good looking but at the same time, I am not going to rely on her judgement about acting skills, plot holes and similar stuff. For that, I have to rely on my own judgement. 😆

Okay. 😆

Waise, first episode dekhogi kya?

It was funny... yes.

But then again, I have had so much overdose of lookalikes that I frankly am annoyed. I don't want to watch more lookalikes. I am tired now... I hope you understand.

I understand. 😊

It's good that at least that Mira Track didn't have that one.

BTW, I have a question. I think the character Anubhav was Haseena's love interest. Now why have they suddenly introduced another officer opposite to her? Do you have any idea?

Oh definitely. 😎

😈

Ab aur kya kahe?? The kaali shaktis looked so idiotic in those scenes... Matlab bewakoofon ki tarah khade hain intezaar mein ki kab ye faltu ka scene khatam hoga and kab fight continue hogi.

Eggjactly!

This actually reminds me of something that I randomly read in a comic... My friend is a fan of Korean drama, series and comics so she had recommended me a few. One of them I found quite relatable to me.

Naish!

Kripaya detail mein bataiye. 😎

I did like that show... And the best thing I liked was that it was a limited well made series and the PH didn't add any stupid twists and turns to stretch it for hundreds of episodes.

Yeah. I believe that's how shows should be. With a definite plot and made with care.

However, I still don't know how I feel about Amla and Abeer. 🤔

I mean, I get it. He hadn't r**ed her and did everything in his power to help her get justice. But somewhere deep down I have this question that was he really that innocent? I mean he fainted due to the alcohol's affect. What if he didn't?

He was a good guy, no doubt there. He even accepted Amla's harsh treatment believing he was wrong.

But still, the idea of a Ra*e Victim ending up with her abuser just doesn't feel right.

And what's worse, Pankhuri and Rajveer looked quite cute together. So I kind of liked them on screen. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Which makes my inner feminist to kick my own ass.

Kya dharm-sankat hain yeh?

Which reminds me, I came across a fanmade edit today. It was by a Fahmaan fanclub. He/she chose the scene from KQHAK where Amla came to his sangeet ceremony in Ghunghat and later fainted.

It simply boiled my blood.

I mean sure, both looked good in that scene and fans do make edits and all but context bhi to samjho yaar! How do you pick up a scene where a ra**st is having fun and the victim is going through a mental breakdown? 🤬 🤬 🤬

Do you think I'm overreacting? 🤔

Finally replying to this, and pg 58,agree with everything.

So coming to this maddam sir disc is done.

Coming to amla, now that would have been a different track ya alag show banta.

Let's assume him as innocent and well wisher, but better if it would have stayed that way. My perspective here, cos even when you are over the incident, scars will be there and seeing any memory related to the incident will remind you of it, irrespective of the person helping you but scars you will remember.

I get your pain, but they were presented that way, so let it pass. Like I say, leads aren't always right but are portrayed. Also yes, they did look good together.

That's really sickk! But you know fans make such edits in name of romance, like half edits are manhandling but it's called intensity or even FLs being over bossy and toxic to MLs but that's framed as love, toh main kya hi bolu.

Good morning!

Good night from my side bahen! 🤪

Obviously actors one likes, lol. But yes kudos to your patience.

Tareef Ke Liye Shukriya! 😛

Arre that aashiqaans, isne toh ekta ko bhi piche chod diya hai to show FLs as some super women.

Accha? 😆

Also I was damn pissed, I follow a few music pgs and they generally edit on movies or song seqs par kal ek ph ne music edit ye faltu show pe banaya.

🤔

Ofc dear I know you, even I say this nothing is original but I have generally seen movies do rain sequences in a more real way, like I have randomly stumbled on so many songs and seqs seemed fresh and simple.

Shows tend to go too ott Or cheesy in this.

Well... This I agree with you. One of the biggest reasons for my detachment with mainstream Hindi shows was this extra cheesy-ness. 🤢 Movies earlier looked organic. 👍🏼

Also special mention to Akshaye Khanna cos many of his rain seqs are in my fav list.

That's nice. Don't about rain sequence specifically but he's a really good actor. 👍🏼

Agreed on other things. Mayur is mayank and nupur from miley jab hum tum.

Thanks for clarifying. 😊

Yes, am satisfied with the ending fully cos Manav and Mansi truly loved each other and many things. Am guessing you aren't.

Hehehehehe! 😆 😆 😆

When I watched it for the first time, I definitely wanted Mansi to end up with Vikrant. I felt Manav was just another spineless hero. Mind it, I wasn't even ten back then. 😛

Now that I understand the complexity more, I think Manav was perfect in his approach. So was Mansi. Both loved each other but for them, their fathers' honor mattered more and both were justified.

Manav did ask his father to do the right thing but he was respectful. Neither did he harass Mansi nor did he try to manipulate his father in any way. He stood his ground.

So now I believe it had a good ending considering they reunited.

But yes, Vikrant was a good person and I still feel bad for him.

Let's assume him as innocent and well-wisher, but better if it would have stayed that way. Couldn't agree more. 🤗 I believe our discussion regarding Amla also ends here since we agree on all the aspects. 😊

Good morning from my side again.

Yes, lol.

Thanks to agree dear, exactly movies look organic and especially rain sequences are done in such a real way.

Hi5, shows ruin it with cheesiness.

You are welcome.

He's a great actor.

Lol, okay. Other things I totally agree with you. Plus I actually loved his transparency of openly talking about his love to everyone, her too but not forcing upon her, like aaj kal ke shows will show, go extremely close and say, farak nahi padta hai, he gave the time and space, made it clear and didn't even mess too much with vikrant and latter too was decent, no one did some extreme mess, overall movie was clean.

Amla, definitely it ends.

Yes.
