Good evening behen... 🤗
Sorry was busy because we have to fill up the next semester forms and all documentation stuff. Finally sab complete ho gaya...
Mere wala hi dekh le bahen. 😉 Kam se kam discuss karne ke liye kuch to milega mujhe. 🤪 But on a serious note, Niyati's show I think will come at 7 pm and GSMI is right after that. Try FFing through Episode 13, 25, 34, and 35. If you are up for it, we'll finally have something common.
Hmmm... That's a good idea. Since I finally am free today, I'll try to take it up. Kaafi din ho gaye Hotstar open kiye; bechare app ko update bhi toh karna padega hume. 🤪
Understandably.
🤗
Precisely! Even if it's a business, a writer should have the least amount of liability for his/her creation. It's not fair to the character, actor, and the audience that after such amazing build-up they write them off as if nothing ever mattered. 🤬 🤬 🤬
Exactly my point!! They made the audience love the character so much but at the end, they turned him negative and had him killed off. The least they could have done was to give him a respectable ending; maybe him sacrificing his life for the country or stuff. At least his respect would have been maintained till the end.
Hum-e intezaar rahega.
Okay, so as I said, I read these comics randomly for fun... But I picked up one this week and it had me go from "I understand the ML's situation" to "F**k you ML" within two chapters only. 🤪
Well, here's the thing. MHRW was already butchered so your wish made sense. GSMI, even with its negative aspects is still quite good. The problem is that I can understand/relate to the leads' dilemma and why they are behaving in a certain way. But too much of anything is bad.
That I understand... MHRW was ruined so my situation did make sense. I am simply talking about feelings; like I can understand your feelings regarding the show.
Like, as I said in my other reply ki FL ki rone se hi flood hone ki chances hain. 😛
Nothing surprising with that...
Btw, can these FLs give a takkar to Ved in terms of "Aansuon ka Water Tank"??
Unlike the original show, here the FL didn't have a strong support system back in her hometown. In fact, people continuously insulted her since her father left her and her mother. So her subdued nature made sense.
Then again, Neel was the only person who treated her as an equal and quite literally saved her from the villagers from murdering her. Hence when she started falling for him, that also didn't seem forced. And now that they are married but Neel made it very clear that whatever he did was out of friendship, I understand why she has lost the remaining bit of strength. So I was okay with her rona-dhona.
Par agar aap har episode mein kisiko rote hue dikhaoge tab to yahi lagega na ki bahen ghar chod de bas rona bandh kar. 😛
The same goes for Neel. It wasn't out of his character when he married Kaju. From the beginning, he was shown as someone who knew how to differentiate between right and wrong and who would never shrug off his responsibilities. I absolutely loved it when he actually revealed to her girlfriend that Kaju was in serious problem and he suspected that he might have to do something drastic. So it's not like he betrayed either of the girls. The first thing he did after their marriage was to clear everything up and then assure Kaju that he would be there to support him emotionally and financially until she made a name for herself. For her security, he brought her to his home.
But my problem is, it seems like the makers themselves have forgotten that he overheard Kaju's conversation with another one of their well-wishers and learned that for her the marriage was real. When you know a person supposedly has some sort of feelings for you, how do you behave so casually with them? Even as friends, there should have been awkwardness. But it's like he has completely forgotten that conversation. As I was telling Madhura that out of the blue there was a romantic sequence. Even though it wasn't totally out of their character, I definitely was shocked by the sudden proximity.
To ab issi baat ka darr baith gaya hain. Ki kahi TRP ke chakkar mein jo realistic portion hain, uspe focus karne ki wajay yeh log na common tropes like jealous GF, kitchen politics, MU - yeh sab kachra dikhana start kar de. 🤔
I understand what you are trying to say... and honestly, I practically hate it when the makers (writers) literally forget what they wrote and what was shown some time back. That simply ruins the flow.
And TRP ke chakkar mein stupidity dikhana is not something new, right?
That's really nice.
Which show was it?
That show used to come years back on Doordarshan National. I forgot its name because I used to watch it some 12-14 years back but it was a romantic comedy and family drama. The best part I liked was that the families were realistic and no one was shown as ultra mahaan and stuff.
Though they messed it up towards the end...
I can talk at length about this show though 😛
My opinion exactly! 😵
🤗
Itna bhi uchalo maat bahen. Kaafi ghatiya tha as per our taste. 😵
Oh that much I guessed with your reactions... But I am feeling like wanting to torture myself by checking that. 😆
again, gonna refer you to my show. The ML here is really good and he is fun-loving.
Case in point... 😛
You don't exactly need to because I know about Neel. I have watched some clips toh poori tarah se anjaan nahi hain hum.
I am still kind of hoping ki issi show mein mil jaye considering they took quite a lot of references from the movie "Taal". And the movie had such an amazing rain sequence! Considering Kaju is the eternal dukhi-aatma and Neel always makes it a point to bring a smile to her face, I was hoping they utilized monsoon. 😳
Ah... Taal. I absolutely love that rain sequence.
And I agree, based on the characters, such a rain sequence would indeed have been amazing to watch.
