it might be. When it was on the silver screen, a lot of its shows were cancelled due to lack of audience (source: Inshorts)

Watching this on Prime and oh boy...It's a snooze fest. There is no grandeur, no sense of the larger than life image that is associated with these epic characters...Akshay looks like a grandpa and totally unsuited to the role. He seems to have done zero homework and was not really up to the assignment in any way.


 Manushi somehow looks better in the offscreen photos I have seen of her...in this she looks like a bland, lifeless doll. She dances well but the lack of expressions is a concern there as well.


The direction is also a big let down. As someone here said it makes you appreciate the work of SLB who really has an eye for this genre. The music, the sets, the costumes- there is grandeur and poetry even in the dialogues in his films.
