Totally agree with Prithviraj here. Ranveer was great in Dhurandhar. But my fav is Rocky from RARKPK. He did such a fabulous job! No one but him could have played that role. Love love love him as Rocky.

100% right. Rocky Randhawa does Not get enough credit as a great performance. I cannot think of any Hindi film contemporaries of veer who could pull it off. Maybe Vicky comes a bit close.

In Malayalam maybe Tovino could do it. He does the cute himbo well.

The unawarded appreciation for Ranveer's performance in Karan's movie (contrary to the awarded one of Alia) makes me happy as his Rocky-performance also belongs to my favourites (I've more than one relative to Ranveer)

Alia got lucky. The other female nominees were not all that great. Rani ended up getting the critics award and Alia went on to win the popular award.

Awww....bless Prithviraj for giving the much deserving flowers to the most difficult character ever portrayed by Ranveer...Most of the Ranveer fans agree with him....Hamza is great but Rocky is iove...Ranveer Singh did not just play Rocky Randhawa, he gave him a soul...It is undoubtedly one of the most difficult characters that is there...Any lesser actor would've easily made it cringe...Even without the author backed role, his effortless brilliance made him the absolute heartbeat of the film....The dismissive claim that he was just playing himself is nothing but a coping mechanism from his haters who cannot handle how irreplaceable his talent truly is....

How is Rocky a more difficult character than a Khilji or a Bajirao or a Hamza ?? Imho Khilji was the toughest he has played followed by Hamza.

Ranveer as rocky didn't appear to be overacting but it would have been easy to do. He was the best part of the movie but his best acting and movie is lootera
