Malini was never a side character and it was visible and clear from the montage by itself but they hated her for being positive initially because they were unable to defend Nalla due to her sweet nature. I saw some of the old threads too, I was shocked at the kind of stuff they had to say abt Malini even before she turned negative. She was the best character before the tore her apart to glorify Adilie because there was a lot of sympathy and siding with her on SM.

That's why they always wanted her to be negative but makers kept her positive for 200 episode and later made her pure evil because it was getting hard to justify Adilie.

I used to get soo mad at imlie for her sindoor obsession

On one side she used to say "Hum Malini didi ki khushi chahat hain" on the other side play luka chhupi romance with Nalla🤪
