In fact father's bring son in law after Nikah in sasural and couples start living together from that day. If family wants to do rukhsati then sometimes husband comes to sasural vice versa. It depends on husband wife basically.

I was watching Mere Humsafar and there the guy married the girl at Masjid and then just moved her in his room. Told her go into the room - not dadi's (where she used to live) but his. They later on had a reception but they just moved in together from day one so I don't think every drama promotes it. Here I think to signify that cheepad they are doing it because he loves Ushna and is doing all these dirty tricks.

I don't understand Naima though, her voice is now grating how she takes these long long breath whilst talking and makes a mountain out of everything. Her son still goes out and does risk is still there so I don't know her ultimate plan here. They have ruined a good bond but I hope they don't ruin Shehroz and Wahab and it ends on a high note.

Only thing they have proved with progress in Naeema's character is that Zunaisha was right about her and unhealthy relationship she shares with her son. Sooner or later, she'll prove herself worst than any sautan for her bahu and Zunaisha has rightly walked away from that abnormal triangle of Maa-Beta-Bahu. I cannot even call Zainab equally responsible here, she has clearly informed them Ushna was adopted and they weren't interested to know about her background. Zainab had never stopped them to go and check Ushna's background. The girl who fits in their 'khandani' shit has already thrown ring on their face looking at abnormal equation they share with each other. Even 'non-khandani' Ushna wasn't ready to take their son, it's just that she was pressurise beyond a limit and all her ways were blocked by Zainab.

Wow - I didn't know Rukhsati meant that much. Is it compulsory to do it? I didn't see Wahab having one but I guess at this age what kids will he produce so could be that too, perhaps.

This is absolute gold! Zunaisha was correct and she rightfully told her off but back then it was showed like Naima sort of cowered down and didn't do much. You are also right that even "non-khandani" Ushna didn't want Shehroz. It was Naima who first said she wanted Ushna for Shehroz and Zainab at that time told them Ushna was adopted. Why not go and do your research then?

I was trying to understand Naima's pov and thought maybe she is scared but when you go back and look she has always been very controlling. Husband has to marry so off she went to marry him even knowing full well her son was dead set against it. Then she decided Ushna should marry her son when neither wanted to. Had this been both Ushna and Shehroz falling in love, and Zainab not discussing the adoption, it would have made sense but here Naima created this mess. That Sufiyan used to visit their home daily and proclaim his love. Shehroz and Ushna got married when that stalker was behind bars, so it wasn't that was hidden from her and she has just found out. I am not able to connect anymore with her. Now at least Zainab will go back to her brothers more as she knows Wahab's loyalty is more with Naima and she needs an anchor too. I feel bad for the leads here who are in this because of the mess Naima made.

Yes, I remember that one. It was a good show but Sami Khan is a very good actor. But in Mere Humsafar the ML married the girl and moved her in his room the same day. They later on had a reception but they were living together from the day of their marriage. So I don't know how it works. Maybe, this is to create additional drama quotient? It is such a mess now. I would have liked had they shown the downfall of that stalker, how Ushna and Shehroz and their love grows, and how they together try to find proof against that romeo. But now we have to watch Pakistani version of Saas bahu saga. I honestly did not enjoy the episode today even though there was only scene of that romeo. Let's see what they do now.

So finally managed to watch the episode and my honest opinion is I did not like it. Even though that romeo was there only for one scene, the character assassination of Naima has made this a depression show. Like someone else mentioned Zunaisha was absolutely right about the unhealthy relationship mother son had, looks like Naima wants that back.

She told Shehroz before you were all around me, when she is the one who pushed him towards Ushna. She told him to consider if he is in love with her and when he realises that he is she wants him back like he was before? I am really not able to connect with Naima atm. First she married her husband, no one wanted it including her husband and Zainab or the kids. Zainab did it because she was being blackmailed, then she married off Shehroz and Ushna - again neither of them wanted it. She also knew that Romeo likes Ushna and romeo himself made sure everyone knew about it. His mother even came after marriage to blast Ushna so nothing was hidden from her.

I understand she is shocked her son was shot and she wants to find the culprit but I have yet to see her call the cops non stop to keep the case open or even hire a private detective to do his digging. How in the world she thinks that culprit will be unveiled? He isn't going to confess on his own so what are the options? She is busy being a mean mother in law and a nuisance at this point where she is on a blaming spree.

Shehroz was unbearable before his marriage to Ushna, in fact even after marriage he was not as good until his mother told him to think about love. I like the change in him and hope it continues but all this "khandaan" and "khoon" is really pissing me off. Why was she not thinking of this when she found out Ushna was adopted?

It looks right now Wahab family have banded together and therefore if Zainab were to seek her brothers it would make sense. I don't understand why ruin a good story that was progressing well. Yes that romeo was a nightmare to watch but things were moving so I could vent and move on. Shehroz told Ushna think of my mum, but she also loves her mother and it is natural she will think of her mother too. She agreed to his request but I don't like men mandating their rules on women. He could have left it for her to decide and if she had said no that would have made sense for me at least. It is good that he is supportive and not bending to his mum as he did with Zunaisha.

I wish this adoption track was not disclosed before and Ushna Shehroz fell in love and wanted to marry, then this current track would make some sense because right now I feel like I am in alternate reality where nothing is making sense at all lol. Somehow I feel Naima knows when to take advantage of her disability and she is also not above using others to get what she wants.

Only saving grace is it will end soon. I have given up on Mere Humsafar and was thinking this will get me going but looks like I spoke too soon!!

Literally, at this point , I am not able to see Shehroz and Ushna's lovey dovey relationship as that does not make sense. I so want that strong Ushna back and make her point of view clear. Even if she does not love Shehroz , just stand up, complete your studies and be financially indepenndent and leave every damn thing. Just be clear. It looks like she is caught up in a suffocated environment. I said before, the girl is trapped in here, lost her individuality and the confidence and spark. She was never meant to be like this. I also blame Zainab for this. She was too pressurised for the marriage. But then again, Raeesa, Sufiyan were so hell bent after Ushna. How i am pissed at director for never focussing on what Ushna wants. They keep on showing unnecessaary things..

Shehroz is back to being Mama's boy just like @mango.falooda said until I saw the promo where for the firsr time he is taking a stand against his mother .
