If creatives are gonna go the "let's make Aryan completely dumb and unable to recognise Kairi as Imlie" option can they at least make it fun by having Aryan find himself attracted to Kairi and half falling in love with her? I kinda want to see him conflicted... hopelessly in love with Imlie but unable to fathom why he is inexorably attracted to and half in love with Kairi.

You are proving the need for what I am proposing. Aryan's repetitive "I will kill Madhav" is hella boring. There is an immediate need to have something else other than that preoccupying his mind. Kairi is already there.
