Hello, Rose again.
So, there are way too many ideas in my head and I don't have the commitment to write lengthy chaptered fics for them. But I can write them in an easy, let me tell it to you way instead of being serious about it. Basically, the same outline/summary thing I presented last time but this time filed under-
Concept Index
1.
Or the one pushed off the stairs is Priya, and she survives but there’s a miscarriage. I just think it would be delicious guilt as the news of the miscarriage is broken. Priya didn’t know about the pregnancy, and it’s kept from her. So, when she does get to know about it, Nandini wanted to enquire and didn’t get the memo to keep her mouth shut, it’s utter devastation. A crack within both of them, for they both grieve a life that could have been.
Ishaan is terrified, and Shivina guilty. She has been in Kapoor mansion since before Priya was discharged but doesn’t have the strength to face her. Priya is going through too many things, and although a mourning silence have enveloped her. She still holds Ram’s hand through it. It takes her three days and three nights of being still to process what happened, in the end, she cries not because of herself but as she hears what kind of father Ram wanted to be, upon her enquiry. She cries like a baby, believing Ram will take care of her. And he does, as through his tears Priya holds him back.
I don’t know where I wish to go with this. Maybe, Nandini tried to get Priya to admit the child she lost was Krish’s, and this leads to an almost physical altercation. One witnessed by Brinda, and she takes Priya away. Upon enquiring whether they should get to her home, Priya refuses, remembering what Meera did (honestly, I don’t know when Priya came to know about the fake alibi thing and I am not torturing myself with the forced angst in the episodes to verify, so just fathom she knew by this point). She doesn’t want anything to have with her, and also with her house. Can’t even if she wishes to, she lost a lot there. Her childhood, her trust, her child… Almost her husband.
For then, Brinda lets her rest at her place. And then rings Ram, upon failing to reach him, she continues ringing Adi, who at last answers frustrated.
‘Bri-’
‘I don’t know, tum log Jahan kahin bhi ho abhi ke abhi gharpahuncho.’
‘What happened? Kya baat hai?’
‘Priya-’
‘Priya? What happened to her, is everything alright?’
At this point, his voice was loud enough to catch Ram’s attention. As his brows furrow, Ram moves to postpone the meeting.
‘Haan, we are just reaching there.’
Brinda explains what happened, before Ram can respond his phone starts ringing. It’s Shivi, who also had a decent number of missed calls. She’s frightened, and worried for her Bhabhi as she begins narrating the argument, at first, between her mother and Priya. And then, between herself and Shubham because she disagreed with all that their mother asked Priya to do.
Cut to teary-eyed Ram moving to the guest room where Priya has fallen asleep, and caress her head with the promise of taking themselves out of their situations. Krish in the, meanwhile, has succeeded in using Meera’s guilt towards Priya in securing her confession that she lied to protect her husband.
As I said, I don’t have any idea what the circumstances are leading up to, but for this one. I want division of property in Kapoor mansion after a full-blown fight regarding the real and step-relationships, Ishaan being sent abroad, and Priya to maintain her trust-broken stance with Meera. Mahendra Sood is obviously jailed. Ram and Priya leave Mumbai, the management is in Shubham and Nandini’s hand, except for a particular business to which all the shares are divided among Ram’s friends for they were the ones who disregarded the packages in order to help him build his empire.
Shivina and Akshay file for divorce and go their separate ways. Shivina deciding to pursue event-management away from the country, and family. While Akki pursues his dream of acting. It’s fascinating, that they are not bitter and remain friends. They remain in love. They might have a hope in having a relationship, or choose to remain what they are is upon them.
It takes Priya a while to get over her shock of losing the child, and a lot of apprehension before trying for a baby again, and even more time conceiving courtesy complications from such a harsh miscarriage. All this while, her teaching continues. And so does, Ram’s work. It hurts him to not be actively engaged in a business where he has his father’s blessings. But then they were always there. So, he decided to take a break from business and instead turned towards his wife, and later kids, deciding to nurture young talent from his savings.
Of course, things come to a head when a corruption scandal comes out and the board members unanimously agree about incompetence of the mother-son duo. Ram comes back, on his friends’ insistence for ‘Kapoor and sons’ was his dream. There’s a lot of damage control to do.
Meera dies, her death destroys Priya and to her it doesn’t make sense. Sara discloses her engagement with Vikrant, Ishaan isn’t pleased. But he has been in touch with RK and his maasi, way too much respect for them, so, holds back. Ishaan ends up collaborating with Shivina for one of her futuristic themes, she wants decorative pieces to defy gravity and Ishaan’s interest is quipped to work on that. Akshay is also in Mumbai, has his own place, and other location with his parents. He’s doing okay. Shivina and he are in relationship, once again, this time under watchful eyes of the people they consider to be family.
Ram and Priya are happy.

This one is an AU, and it is a concept that really tickles me, I have two versions for this and I don’t know where do either of the two leads. While browsing through twitter in search of good BALH2 memes (please, send good ones my way, I wasn't as successful 😭), I started considering Ram and Priya's social media presence. Now, since, I obviously wanted them to interact with the added layer of anonymity I have considered these-
a. A rom-com, where Ram has an instagram account where he posts all about the food. He has gained quite a reputation as a food influencer. Of course, the catch being no one knows it's actually him. It's at the closing time that Shivina demands vegan cupcakes from Sara's bakery, and Ram delivers, of course he taste-tests them as well and gives a review. The catch being it was a faulty batch and Priya who was the one dealing with the package didn't know about it as Sara forgot to inform her, that those cupcakes were experimental. Their business takes a hit.
Priya makes her own account to interact with the person behind the food account. And challenges him to try another batch, as it was a faulty batch, and they were supposed to call it back. It would be a funny interaction because when Ram asks for cupcakes Priya would outright go, you can order more. Okay, she's not missing out on the bakery's business? It's hard enough for Sara as it is. Ram being Ram agrees, and retrieves his opinion. Shooting up bakery's popularity and making people curious.
Ram informs this prickly person behind the account that he did so, and she replies with K. Of course, he is displeases. The gist is they end up bickering over texts, and it becomes part of their daily routine. This is one they fell without seeing each other idea.
b. I like to think this form of online interaction is a more severe one. One of Priya's students talk behind her back regarding how she doesn't understand this world of social media. And it reminds her of the ID, she created in the college library.
- I lowkey want this to be reconciliation with her college-sweetheart, she never met and they got out of touch, of course, it's Ram who still daily checks for this strange account with no profile picture.
- But in the spirit of moving on in life, and being in love again. Maybe, it was an account before Neeraj or associated with him. Anyways, either she used to write and comes across a post of herself on rain she found foolish or someone else's. The issue is it's one of Ram's favourite pieces, a reason to love rain. He takes an issue with that, and they start fighting like Tom and Jerry, first in comment section, then on private. Their discussions move to other areas or being practical vs dreaming, stars-moon, love, losing love, life, gradually their life experiences. And then when it rains again Ram or his anonymous-online persona, as opposed to the official-formally curated one, is there to check up on if she still hates rain.
- Bonus point, if as this is happening Ram and Priya are sort of going through went on in the show. Means, getting ready to marry each other in real life, not knowing it's the same person they are getting unusually fond of in online world. It would be funny, if the reveal they are marrying on the same date. Realize they are in love, as the admit to the impending happening. Agree to meet each other, because they are getting wedding jitters and go missing on their wedding day. And Ram in his nervousness, upon seeing Priya blurts, 'I am not here to meet the person I love.'
I would love for it be in a restaurant the morning of the wedding, or at beach, hours before marriage in their full wedding attires. Let their families go crazy, and they return hand-in-hand making heart eyes at each other.
3.
As far as the separation troupe goes, there would be a second male-lead and second female-lead in the lead couples' respective lives, who will turn possessive and obsessive over them. Krish still remains a fear, I am low-key worried about Vedika as well, but concerning Krish... I want Priya to have a meltdown.
So, let Priya return to Mumbai and have some interactions with Mr Kapoor. Introduce Pihu and Mr Kapoor. It's after that, that Pihu suddenly goes missing from her school and this terrifies Priya. She panics, after half an hour, Sara accompanies Priya to a location where there's Pihu playing with the toys by herself. Priya requests her to take Pihu away. Priya is awfully late in returning (Sandy also notices a bruise on her wrist). Things only start getting crazier, once, Kapoors set their minds to send her away. Even Brinda and friends' to an extent. All of it actually, leads to much more interaction between Mr Kapoor and Priya.
Then Pihu is kidnapped, Priya was with her then, and is injured trying to save her. A head injury, and many-many threatening messages. Priya ponders before leaving hospital at mid-night. It gives Sara-Vikrant-Sandy a scare, as they try to find her. Vikrant receives a call from Ram regarding commotion made by Priya. It's in the middle of the road, as Mumbai is ready to flood that Ram turns around, asking the guards to close the doors when Priya falls on her knees, in tears.
'I don't have anyone else besides her, Mr Kapoor. Kuchhi bhi nahi. Aapse door aapki ek hi to nishaani thi, I can't lose Pihu.'
Brinda needs to be the one to enquire upon that, and a sob later, 'Jhooth bola maine, bolna pada mujhe. Pihu hamari beti hai, Mr Kapoor ki aur meri. Agar uski hoti to shayad Krish kabhi aisa nahi karta jaisa vo kar raha hai.'
The person behind all the Pihu related scares is Krish. He's aware, she's Priya's biggest weakness. As such, whenever he feels she's going away from him. He simply takes Pihu away from Priya's life. The fact that they were friends, and through her term in prison, it was him who helped take care of Pihu such that she grew attached to him doesn't help. As she's quick to follow her.
For Priya turning to Ram and requesting for help, was a last resort thing because the past 72 hours she have only received threats. And pleas to be with him, instead of any information on her daughter. She filed for a complaint but there's so much more to it that simple missing. A psychological gameplay planned by Krish, which have kept Priya on her toes.
This particular scenario is about admission of Pihu's identity, rather than conflict resolution. Initially hesitant, Ram breaks quite soon and starts using his resources. Krish only make sit harder to figure out his presence. After a while, few weeks, of no contact with Ms Sood Pihu starts understanding something is wrong. As for the truth of Shivina's death it can come out, as they finally catch Krish and he gives a monologue about how incapable of loving and cherishing Priya he actually is, to believe a bunch of lies.
I don't think I am good with writing thrillers, but this would be fun as one. Krish leaving false trails, with occasional threats, and attempts to take Priya away. Priya might give in sometimes, but Ram follows her, and saves her from a life of being caged.

Okay, I know because of what happened we are collectively destroyed over Meera and Nandini. But just imagine this, two shots, based on Nandini looking at Meera, and vice versa in two chapters respectively.
a. Just them having the keen eye to observe the loneliness, and insecurity they feel due to their children. Nandini just going in the mode of how Ram's father even unintentionally made her feel like the other woman, even when his first wife wasn't there anymore. His expectations of her were to be more nanny, than of wife and all of it led her to obsessively turning to securing future for 'her children', forgetting she loved Virendra once.
And Meera strangely being the first wife alive, who was left alone, and wasn't cared for. Her children not even in a disillusioned second-tier but nothing for her estranged husband. I want them to strike a friendship which is more appreciation towards an entirely different set of struggle, all the while, acknowledging they are not and can never have the approach the other person has.
b. The same can be explored by tangents for Priya and Shubham, as Meera and Nandini at opportune times explain why Nandini was as hostile as she was/ why Meera provided to be a fake alibi. (This all came upon from another OS, where Shivina is pregnant, and that in turn itself is a good excuse for them to be in closer vicinity at more times)
I just think they can learn from each other, a little softness and a little harshness to get things done. To deal with their insecurities which hit they full-fledged before Ram and Mahendra Sood. It's honestly, a friendship I want to see. And now this leads me to a completely different AU.
c. Nandini and Meera, being best of friends want a marriage alliance. Either Sara runs away and Priya has to replace her, or Shubham (he's younger I know but it's an AU and I can have him near Ram/Sara's age if I so wish) and Ram has to take his place. Or both of them do. Just after marriage, it turns out Neeraj and Maitreyi feel saved from having to disclose their affair. Just before marriage, Vedika left Ram for Shashi. You see, I love my second chance to romances, am not easily giving up on that. Although, I am really in love with the cross-class marriage and all that entails, the only thing is I genuinely find it hard to believe Nandini would keep and honor such a promise.
5.
Hurt no comfort. Let's kill Priya. And I am saying that because although I haven't watched the angsty episodes. There are edits and Nakuul as Ram is serving us with looks which are so heartbroken. They would make much more sense if Priya is no more. Of course, along with miscarriage. And just let it simmer, like, news of miscarriage comes first. And then there's that Priya is critical, the accident that occurred earlier has complicated her health now. Then, at last, the death.
6.
I don't know what my problem with the leap is honestly. Am I justifying it because the leap was mandated by the first season? Or am I just so in love with Ram and Priya that I can't see them hurt? (I cannot see Ram in the state he is, I can't bear to) I hate the situation they created to show the leap? Was it forced? Or did they do fine and it's me that's the problem? Or am I comparing it too much to the first season where the leap took place on terms where there wasn't hate between Ram and Priya?
Anyways, Priya discovers she is terminally sick. Prior to this, though, we need someplace for Ram to hyperventilate over Priya. She fell sick or an injury. Just something for Priya to acknowledge how much her health and state of mind affects love of her life. And now I want the leap, them to part on terms where Priya admits she was having an affair. (Is it lifted from PKDH who knows?🤪)
That's it for now, I will edit as more ideas hijack my life.
