Is Aryan's character the main reason? - Page 2

I have said it sometime back itself that the way makers had moulded Aryan's character, it would become a double-edged sword at some point of time. Especially because, somewhere along, offscreen dramas too had contributed to the makers ego to portray Aryan as a perfect partner to Imlie. The only individual character arc they could have developed for Aryan was Aravind's death induced revenge and guilt, which all of a sudden got hijacked by some self-proclaimed lead actors' exit. From there onwards CVs were struggling to get a grip. And in between the channel's interference with the Shaadi & pregnancy track. Which again took the show on a down-spiral. So, the blame is not only on the makers; the channel too is responsible for what is happening with the show now.

Having said that, I do feel that if the makers are still interested in running the show, then one possibility to get back the ratings is to have Jyo's pardafash and then Imlie losing her memory & pregnancy after Jyo's murder attempt on Imlie. That would be a proper reboot which can be promoted properly with the prem disha promo, which is to be released yet.

They can actually . Malini could be back but may be she has lost her sanity or pretend to be good. Aryan and Imlie can clash bcz of her with imlie trusting Malini and aryan wary of her.

They could also bring a business rival who will tend to befriend Imlie as she is naive to reach ASR.

They could show many things but the point is wi they actually. Team is hardworking and with 100+ episodes has also proved its potential.

You know they can also bring AKT back. It could actually cause a conflict between them.

they should do this actually. bring him bck with some sad story in mask but as villain cos that is only way to give real conflict btwn them. nw that they use purandas in such a way that even aryan will not doubt Akt much but he will feel insecure... they need a good actor. hope they think abt it

Problem is that they rushed through the whole damn thing.. Right now logically they should have still been on the post - shaadi track where imlie is upset with him for forcing her and he is silently egging her on to focus on her career and not duniya bhar ke 'apne'...

The revenge resolution should not have even started let alone completed... Right now we should have been having imlie hating him one moment yet falling for him the other moment because of how much he takes care of her.

All this push and pull was completely destroyed by rushing through everything. Even if MV was leaving we could have them both still dealing with the fallout from that rather than one banage slapped on the head for two episodes and over.

There is no conflict left between the two because they are always on the same page. Shows like Yrkkh functioned previously without any villains because of huge side characters bringing their own conflict which this show doesn't have. Real life couple issues is not itv material.

They need to reboot. They need to do either a complete or a soft reboot.

They need to do a memory loss so we have them going back to strangers with opposing views... If they want family drama have aryan lose his memories so imlie gets thrown out by narmada.. Yehi toh chahiye itv ko - superwoman heroine fighting against all odds.

This is what we were all saying , they rushed through everything. Some of it because of MV exit and some of it bcz of channel interference. Both shaadi and pregnancy was early for Arylie , channel should have left them alone .

Ya I also think that they should go ML way, aryan ML.will be interesting . In first scenerio we had aryan chasing imlie, now we could have Imlie chasing aryan

The problem here isn't Aryan's character but the bad execution of each track right from arylie wedding. Instead of an actual wedding the fake one could've been used to show Aryan being an ideal husband to Imlie along with his conflict with Akt. Then Narmada finding it out followed by her conflict with Aryan over putting Imlie in such a situation. A small separation where Imlie finally realises that she has feelings for him but doesn't want to accept it. Meethi & Aryan bond had so much potential but they left it unused. A possible arranged marriage with both Narmada & Meethi insisting would've been so much better. I mean there was enough scope in every track but they rushed it & simply left the ship to sink on its own. Idk what they have actually planned. Either they're shutting it down or going in for a redux.

I know they bulldozed through all their potential tracks . Shutting show doesn't seem plausible . This show is their cash machine.

A soft reboot is a good idea IMO with ML ..It will a fresh start

I don't think because of flawless Aryan they have no story. They killed the reason of their conflict. Aditya was the best for third wheel. They could show how Imlie is still priorities him or T's leaving her career aside. If he would treat her rough & tough way without disrespecting her. Then it would be great.

But after confession this theory goes down the drain ... if the conflict comes again then it will be again like showing asr like akt .... without confession it wid be a different game

They could also bring in Aryan's uncle aka as BM's husband and three or so children of theirs along with him. Those children could have partners and maybe even children of their own so you've got more people for whom to create side stories. If they want to they can even bring in a past inheritance conflict between the brothers which could have the uncle claiming to be entitled to Aryan's wealth and an inheritance war could ensue. Or they could make the uncle as greedy and money-grubbing as his wife, trying to usurp Aryan's wealth. A conflict between Arylie could arise where Imlie could find out their real intentions and try warn Aryan but Aryan wouldn't necessarily believe her cause they are family.

Actually they can atleast utilize bd like how she was in soup during shaadi cue badi maa... this time it wud be great if she learnt her lesson n secretly sides with aryliearyliep

Aryan is flawed , just not flawed in the sense that we are seeing !

He observes people a lot , before forming opinions of them .. he accepts his mistakes , rectifies them !

Sasta ASR ( cause i legit forgot his name ) could have been a genuinely nice guy ( well settled ) va sundar ( love )

Aryan and imlie have very different idea of life ! If well done the track could have done wonders

Theres still much to explore , they could have shown aryan not ready for kids and imlie misudnerstanding it as not wanting to be a father ..

conflicts doesnt arise from third angle .. if done well it can arise from anywhere

Makers have given up thats all
