I am hearing a lot of confusion regarding Dhaakad and feminism. Abjini, sirf feminism ko movie flop hone ka reason nahi bol sakte. See, jab koi alag tarah ka movie achaanak banta hai aur uske against doosre attractive movies hote hai to vo movie flop hoti hai. Remember what happened to Love Story 2050 which had a really good story of romantic sci-fi genre but unfortunately people did not got interested in watching that movie and watched Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na instead. I also once told the example of how Andaaz Apna Apna flopped as in those times people loved mostly action and romance movies instead of comedy movies. Also that day we talked on Akash Vani getting flopped due to people getting more interested in masala movies. Vo chhodo. Kashmir Files ko hi dekho. Agar public log itna promote nahi karte aur vo movie ke baare me news channels pe nahi bataata to ye movie 339 crore kya 10 crore bhi nahi kama paata and Bacchhan Pandey would have been hit instead. There were also news or some video that s theatre put big poster of Bacchhan Pandey but very small poster of Kashmir Files in the corner. Agar itna awareness nahi create karte to vo movie kab aata aur kab jaata pata hi nahi chalta.
Another reason is scripting and way of presenting. Agar story me thik dialogue ya explanation scenes nahi huve to log confuse ho jaayenge. Unhe samajh me hi nahi aayega ki movie me kya ho raha hai. Agar movies me unnecessary ya uninteresting scenes honge then also people will get bored. Remember Drona and Ra.One. Vo to feminism movies nahi the na. Vo kaise flop hua? Of course due to boring story. Vaise hi Dhaakad me ho raha hoga. Agar kuch naya type ka movie try karte hai to they need to make it interesting and work properly on scripts abd scenes.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa may have earned 82 crores but it was 2007. I doubt many movies earned that much at that time.
