Oh! This is a Hindi version of Oi Dakche Aakash which was the Bengali song that PD sung for the movie Kidnap with music by the same Jeet Ganguly. I am not sure if the lyrics are a translation, but the composition is definitely the same. When it started out I was thinking is this a Jeet Ganguly signature or what, but as it progressed it became evident that it is the same!

I Never followed this show and never heard of Pawan who was a winner of VoI season 1 before II12!.

I knew Danish was in some other reality show but I don't remember which one. Also he comes from a background of singing and performance, perhaps some other businesses too. His house, his car, his lifestyle all point to wealth.

Yeah. I think his family is well to do and have many singers in it. I think his younger brother sings really well and will probably be a part of next II.
He bought a 5 BHK in Mumbai which is a big deal and if I heard it right his mom and dad were going to move in with him. His sister lives close by in Mumbai.

Turns out this is another Arijit Singh song - Tomake Chhuye Dilam. Last year also in Rishikesh when he was asked to sing a Bangla song he sang an Arijit Singh number - Apur Paayer Chhaap. It seems he is such a big fan of Arijit Singh that he listens to the Bangla songs also.

I believe in working with Shaan and doing shows in Kolkata after Voice India he has picked up Bangla.
