Thank god this Kalesh Couple track ended maturely....they actually looked and sounded like human beings after they filed for seperation....

Billu's dialogue;

"Jab do dost ek dusre ki khatarnak dushman ban sakte hai aur do khatarnak dushman dost kaise nahi ban sakte hain?" Felt like a direct jab at HM and KS's friendship

For a moment I was afraid that Rajesh would ask indu out on a date by saying that he's doing it by his own volition this time....thank god that didn't happen....

Tennis match scene was good but Pushpaji's "Mooh tod dijiye" and that naagin dance was way over the top...

Urmila back after a long time and KS calling out Haseena's seniority privilege was icing on the cake ( no spoilers from me this scene HAS to be watched) KS took out all her repressed anger and frustration today....of course both of them are sadu in their own way....they're not cool at all...

I think that principal was refrained from having fun from a young age and he expects that from everyone....or he might be insecure about his size (fat shaming is not intended here) and knowing that he can't dance like that and taking it out on the professor...

The girl who lied about hating the professor....I think she's the one who sent the note to HM in the precap.....maybe she's being blackmailed into badmouthing about the professor or something....

HM's dialogue " Wah Karishma Singh aap to ekdum cooly iss case ko handle kar rahi hai , aap Karishma Singh hi hai na? Ya Urmila jaisa koi double role ki chakkar hai" 🤣🤣🤣

That scene where HM was provoking KS by calling her as sadu didn't sit well with me at all...

KS's dialogue to Pushpaji was also good , she's frustrated that Pushpaji never takes her side and tries to demean her in front of everyone at every chance possible and she's close to a breaking point....one day KS's patience is going to break and Pushpaji won't be able to handle the heat then....

Billu's idea of a buisness venture 🤣🤣🤣

Not that excited for this track but I'm going to see where it goes from here...

uff a lot has happened in the last 3 or so episodes. where do I start?

@komal, party di thi na, AT thread main masumiyat vanvas kat kar vapis jo ayi hain XD. but I agree, the scene was freaking hilarious. the part where she spits out the watersmiley37 cheetah is never going to get his lady love after that.

here is my 2 rupees ka opinion on some things:

1) amrita accepting that she failed with such pride and maturity was beautiful to witness. I could almost picture myself over there realising that I should be working hard for things not because of what others want but because I want them because what I expect from myself is ultimately going to decide how i work towards my goals. that moment of epiphany was so relatable.

i don't have much to add about the haseena/Karishma/ the sequences of events that unfolded regarding them. I pretty much agree with everyone.

2) the KC case, wow I have to say I am quite impressed with how it was well written with the conflict nicely built up, well fleshed out, enacted, executed, kept crisp, straightforward and concluded. haldi and Ashok in the same case?! it was a laughter riot throughout. the chaotic energy radiating off in the entire episode (2nd May) was such a treat to watch -the cheetah santu banter, the couple throwing utensils around. the icing on the cake was actually the fact that they didn't completely butcher the Punjabi language (the structure was a little weird but overall it was pretty decent. and of course, I appreciate the representation of different languages/dialects).

I was a little sceptical when it was first introduced because I thought they were gonna end up together again. so I was pleasantly surprised by the turn of events where they had mutually filed for a divorced and agreed to be cordial with each other. the use of parallel scenes as Karishma and haseeena spoke to the husband and wife was well utilised to bring out the different aspects of a relationship. at the end of the day, the couple was very incompatible and the relationship brought nothing but stress and toxicity in their lives. I admired the way they recognised their ex's individuality and personality that would be what someone would want in a life partner but it simply wasn't what they were looking for. it was such a refreshing take on relationships and the underlying issues of mental health being subtly addressed were like sprinkles on the cake. also worth mentioning is that they didn't deny that society and people will gossip because it's true. gossip mongers are gonna say, "aao behen chugli karein." but it's up to us to decide how we let it affect us. so yes, the stigma of divorce will be there, people will talk and they may even be the butt of jokes but it isn't worth living in a suffocating marriage that won't bring any joy.

also, why is it that for parents to realise their children need freedom and space is always after the kid threatens suicide? bolne se baat samaj main nahi ati kya?

now, this could be me overthinking again but it feels like santu still has some leftover backstory that we are yet to find out. the way she spoke so passionately about how the husband is at fault and men, in general, got me thinking about whether she went through some other ordeal regarding this topic during the time frame of the show since its inception. especially since it isn't the first time she has been so fierce with it - before this there was the teacher case and a couple of other ones. I know that her father/ brother is far from what she would consider ideal men to look up to and that she did go through something extremely traumatic as a teenager during holi. that could be where her disdain and trust issues stem from. I don't know if it's how the character is currently being written or acted but she seems so angsty these past few days. it makes me think that there is something else going on (or maybe I just really miss the times when she would say utterly dumb things) ps. good opportunity to craft a story around her absence.

was it just me or did haseena seem annoyed at Pushpa Ji? I don't exactly understand where this hostility is coming from along with the repeated remarks of retirement/counselling. it's irritating, not funny. Pushpa ji not being able to quote a single time her counselling was useful was...fatuous for the lack of a better word. like hain? really?

3) the team just going out having fun playing badminton was a low-key fun scene that should have been extended on IMO with the all the characters given something to do other than just watching the shuttlecock going back and forth (if they ain't going to meet Mowgli, I will settle for more scenes like these). it was also pretty telling of their dynamics. my masumiyat and Pushpa ji as usual supported madam sir while cheetah for a change stood by Karishma with billu as a neutral party.

I try to like haseena, I really do but every time I reach a somewhat neutral ground with her, she seems to find a way to do back to the irritating, borderline unlikable character for me. Karishma was very clearly dissing her recent behaviour and showing that there was indeed trouble in paradise. instead of being the understanding and perceptive person she is presented to be, she proceeds to smile and shrug off anything she said like it was meant to be a joke, not even taking a moment to reflect. for all her observation and big talk, I wonder how she failed to read between the lines so bad. Karishma pointed out that the rest feel the same but they don't say it because of fear. no one, not even Pushpa Ji who has always stood by/up for haseena, denied this. I would take that silence as admission. they really need to sit down and have an open/honest conversation because little things like this- intentional or not- bring out the cracks in the relationships. as if that wasn't enough, madam malik decided to turn it into a competition of who is less uptight- the irony is uncanny.

i said bye to urmilla in seven different languages. I'm going to add another one to that list: Haere rā. I don't want to see her again. no just no.

Pushpa Ji went overboard with the whole naagin dance thing. I get it you are haseena's number one fan and apke lalla ke bhaag phot gaye jab unhone Karishma Ji se shadi ki thi.

maybe haseena is really doing this to get a reaction out of everyone. until this theory is completely debunked ill hold on to it so that I will be able to tolerate this version of haseena malik.

ps. I'll wait for the case to be over to talk about it.

p.p.s everyone looked so good in those gym attires!!! I want an under armour jacket now too.

Even I watched that BTS by total accident....I was searching for old cast interveiws and I saw this video. I thought they were going to do jpt 2 by looking at the video title but it turned out to be good....even I've stopped watching precaps ever since HM's memory returned for real because they reveal the entire plotline of the track and it's hard to search 10 different channels for the precaps...here are the links...

@bold;

I think it's the writers version of "Santulan banake rakhne ka" they're maintaining a balance between Pushpaji-Karishma and Pushpaji-Haseena dynamics....ever since Pushpaji went overboard with the bhaag phoot gayi taunts the writers must've realised that audiences are not liking it and hence to maintain a balance they're doing this with Haseena's character...kind of a karmic payback if you ask me , Pushpaji annoys KS , in turn HM annoys Pushpaji... atleast that's how I interpret this whole thing and frankly I'm really not bothered by HM's taunts at all idk why...

@blue;

I like that Urmila makes a guest appearance now and then...thing about Urmila is I liked her character at first , then the memory loss happened and she became overboard , when HM regained her memory , she wanted to be this fun person by force ( for a lack of a better word , she's trying to become something that she's cleary not ; a fun person , she's strict and she should own up to it) and now urmila comes off as this passive agressive person which is totally opposite of what Urmila is supposed to be; a fun loving person who does not hurt anyone with her actions or words.... HM is trying to be Urmi but is unable to understand Urmila's core characteristics at all... HM needs to get pointers from other MPT members about Urmila during her memory loss track , Imo that's the real Urmila , even if she was a little overboard she was a natural happy go lucky person...but HM is trying too hard to be that version of herself and it comes off as passive agressive whenever she tries to channel Urmila...

Ayyy no worries, no justification or explanation needed from you or komal haha. I didn't mean to come off as demanding or passive aggressive. I was just fake whining. Shaayad galti se pushpaji se overacting seekh li 😆.

But yea, it was super tedious to look through all the channels. Anyways they would all put up bits and pieces of the same scene, that too the final one not the rehearsal or behind the scene masti. So yea totally makes sense to not put all of those up. Thanks for sharing the fun segments of the actors though, you both are keeping that thread alive.
