Pinterest is my favourite app in the world. I love going on it for quotes and memes and writing prompts. One of my favourite things on Pinterest are those posts about "100 ways to say ily without saying it" and I can say with utmost certainty, Aru and Imlie reinvented that list. Since coming back to Pagdandiya, they've said ily in countless ways, each more beautiful than the last. Today, it was her pleading "please don't" when he was calling himself a monster for his behaviour (love a man who holds himself accountable). That scene was executed to perfection!
Imlie said she didn't understand Meethi's point but now she does means she's admitting Aru's right for her, his heart was in the right place (he wasn't using you selfishly), and possibly confessing her feelings and wishes to stay in this marriage.
Fahmaan's voice modulation is incredible, you could just hear the hope radiating off his voice when he asked Imlie if she loved him.
It's astonishing how they go from serious and/or romantic to silly and/or banter in seconds. It's a seamless transition each time. 👏
"ofc, didi aur maa ki khushi ke alawa tumhe kuch nahi dikhta" it's so cute how he pouts when she acknowledges everyone else but him. Like that scene when she came back home and he's like "tumne didi aur maa se shaadi todi nahi ki".
He wants her to say she likes him so bad. He's always twisting her words to get her to confess and I just can't stop gushing over the chemistry.
