1) that seems very likely. Neil can be the savior once again. And finally he will hand all pieces to abhi and abhi will take it from there. Lions roar!! Just like the confession track.
2) I would love for that to happen. It would be so nice if abhi sees true colors of mahima. Not just jealousy (I think he already knows about that) but about how she has manipulated tilak 1 and trying to do same now. But I doubt that will come out so soon. Mahima will be hidden grey vamp for future tracks.

What I think may happen- mahima may end up giving an anonymous tip to the police about ak-ar involvement in the accident and police show up suddenly and arrest them. Then abhi-ak my clears, no one believes ak, ar goes in depression or some other illness or is MIA, abhi suppers ak and starts his “ak bachav” mission with his promise “ mein ak ko kuch nahi hone dunga”, neil plays a major role in this mission, abhi somehow figures out mahima heard ak’s confession, abhi confronts mahima, mahima being smart says, “yes I heard but I hid it to save your marriage as I thought this will break you guys”, mahima earns brownie points from everyone and becomes hero, mahima remains grey and hidden to fight the battle another way and another day
