How spineless is Garima?

I've never been a big fan of Garima Bua, because she was just too much of a doormat for me. She always pushed Gungun to be tolerant of bad behaviour and forced her to let go when someone insulted her instead of standing up for herself.

But now she's actually going back to the husband who proudly cheated on her with his own SIL??!

Wtf is wrong with her? It's like she exchanged her brain cells for heaps of sanskaar instead 🙄🙄

If she's this stupid, then she deserves the betrayal she will get!

That’s the problem with most of the characters in this show. I’m afraid but that’s the case with most of the other shows as well. The representation of female characters is downright poor to say the least. Talk about a side character or the FL, in the name of sanskar and izzat, they are made to be dim-witted doormats who’ll tolerate whatever stupidity/wrong their loved ones do. The logical thing for Garima to do in this case would have been to first of all ask who tf her daughter is marrying. Na kuch pucha na jaana bas do aansu bahake chal padi apni beti ki shaadi mein. Doesn’t even question why such a change of heart in her hubby-daughter.
same things she’s teaching GG too and tbh her brother is no better. He’s another spineless idiot whose decisions just don’t make sense anymore. Just coz GG failed her exams they are equating her with a chimp who doesn’t know anything and needs others to decide for her. I mean sahi kiya kya hai Papa bua ne abhi tak? hope that the audience use their brains and not take away anything from these characters. And I so so pray GG takes the reins of her life in her own hands, doesn’t be a poor princess who needs to have a Knight to “save” her. Also Anubhav, given his recent conduct, can NEVER be the knight for her. He needs saving himself. GOD! Too many things are going wrong. Kahan ki kahan pahunch gayi main likhte likhte.

No dear...you didn't deviate at all! In fact everything that you pointed out, are FACTS!!

I always thought of Garima bua as a spineless character. I mean she just does one thing best, whenever faced with any untoward situation... CRY!! Like seriously?? If Akriti misbehaves, she cries, if someone else says something, she cries...What is this nonsense? She doesn't seem to have a brain at all, for if she has, she doesn't use it at all. No situation analysis, NOTHING! She never took a stand for herself, which is why her husband took advantage of the situation. Even after all this she's ready to go back as if nothing happened!! Really?? 👏👏

When Maya returned, she constantly pushed Gungun towards her! Like lady, give her some time... Let her understand the situation before jumping to conclusions!! Even after Maya's rude behaviour towards her, she kept on pampering her..bhabhi this, bhabhi that...and what not!!

And as for Dr. Riddhesh... Mr. Forever- ready- to- apologize!! His character is equally spineless!!

And our dearest Anubhav! He doesn't even deserve my rant for he's the most annoying lead ever!

I hope Gungun doesn't get affected by these people... I really expect her to be a strong character!
