A short story - the outburst!!!
10 am at the election campaign
There was a large crowd of public voting for Kushveer and Rupi. A huge applause for each contesting candidate went on as they completed their motivational talks one after the other
Everyone was present except Angad Mann who was away to Chandigarh for a business trip after financing rupi sandhu for the upcoming elections. He promised to the families that he would be back from the trip by late evening and join the samdhus for a dinner at a five star hotel.
Tejo was upset after her break up with her ex. So a dinner outing would do wonders for her. He smiled as he was informed by the manager in charge of the dine in that the best table and reservations were made for the family and a local famous singer was also booked specially for the lady he adored the most , tejo Sandhu, with her favourite beats
Little did he realise that destiny was gonna play a major twist on that particular day that he would be required to make reservations somewhere else instead

Was coming on the way
It was the eighth day (Asthami) of Navratri and tejo was instructed by grandma during the campaign to return to the residence to check on the akhand joth( flames lit throughout the day). A special offering to goddess Durga on the day of Asthami which is widely known the day of the joth (flames).
As soon as she reached home, tejo checked the huge diva and filled it with extra amount of ghee. Tears rolled down her cheeks when she looked up at the divine form in a portrait smiling to her
"People say that u are the mother of the universe who understood the pain of her children. U give them strength to overcome sorrows and obstacles coming in their way. Then why u left me behind".
Her last sentence affected the mother in the goddess and tejo's wish was granted then and there.
"Then why u left me behind".
The magic words that made the turnaround in the distraught soul at once when a gust of wind blew from nowhere and she felt her head spinning with pitch darkness ahead.
At the ground of the campaign.
Minutes later , a woman's screeching voice was heard and every head turned towards her panicking and taking off at the same time.
Virks and sandhus went through major shocks.
The outburst!!!
Tejo was running towards the families with wide red flaring eyes and screaming on top of her lungs holding a trishul in her right hand pointing towards them.
"In asuron ka ved karne ayi hun. Aaj koyi nehin bechega. Meri beti tejo ko dukh diya tum sab ney. Nehin chodungi. Aek aek uski asuon( tears) ki kimat chukani pedegi".
She chased each and every member throughout the day under the hot fiery sun till they passed out on the crop fields with some facing minor whereas others with major injuries.
After sunset, she fell unconscious in the fields exhausted running after the families who destroyed her.
7.30 pm on the way back to moga
Angad Mann received a phone call from a stranger. He picked up at the first ring in excitement . Must be a call from the hotel about the wonderful reservations again." I just can't wait to see the cheerful tejoji"
"Hello, all reservations done , i suppose", he answered with a smile in his voice but was shocked when the voiceover stated
Good evening sir, reservations done in ordinary wards, full observation wards and ICUs sir. All occupied. Waiting for u to come over and settle the bills soonest possible
The businessman was puzzled and annoyed
What the hell!!
The stranger continued calmly,
"It is definitely hell sir, the occupants are difficult to handle and made our lives here hell sir. We are all doing over time since they were admitted and made us feel we have boarded a train to hell with one way ticket sir. It's hell of a dreadful journey and once we reach home our spouses will make our life hell sir"
He was silent and shocked
What is this guy talking.
"Idk if u don't mind . Can u explain clearly pls. I am confused".
Stranger calmly,
"Ok sir. I am calling from City hospital, Moga. A few residents were admitted half hour ago . They were ambushed by a family member who was taken into control by divine powers".
He was shocked once again
Divine powers!!
The guy over the line nodded with a smile in his voice
"Yes sir, she charged after them with a trishul in her hand She was determined to teach them a lesson. It seemed they gave her too much sorrow sir. Apparently all moga wasis are applauding her actions. The woman is known to be very selfless and hence bullied by the two families. She went home to check the diva lit for durga ashtami poja and she returned in a fierce form with a trishul clutched in her right hand running towards them. For a few hours she chased them around the village. Sir , videos are uploaded by few passerby. They are all over the social media"
He instantly covered his mouth with his left hand while still driving trying to control his laughter. Finally tejo u did it!! Yes!! Serve them right
He enquired anxiously.
" Is the woman alright?? Where is she??
The stranger replied calmly.
"Yes sir, she is back to normal but suffered from severe headaches and few bruises due to chasing her family. She is being treated in a normal ward. Doctors gave a sedative and put her to sleep. She will wake up next morning. She still doesn't know the families are admitted as well. She couldn't recall the events.. Just complained of migraine and dizziness".
He was relieved. Tejo was fine
" Ok. I will be there in a short while".
The stranger continued politely.
"Sir , a brief information on the other patients before u hung up and the amount need to settle.
Mahi virk and her grandparents , the Sandhu boys as well as mr. Buzo and wife simran virk suffered only bruises due to bitten by insects while running in the crop fields. A few falls here and there. Total bill amounting to four lakhs.
Harman sandhu and wife admitted in same ward but suffered only minor injuries. Apparently both were heavy weight and while running they stumble upon one another too often . Harmanji is on ventilator coz his wife Dolly accidentally choked him while her full weight fell on his chest. He laid unconscious then and there in the fields. The villagers rushed him here. Sir, he was the first one to reach. Total bill amounting to three lakhs .
Rupi sandhu and wife suffered serious injuries and are under close supervision in observation wards. While running they were hit by a speeding jeep that barged through the fields. The driver was drunk. The amount of bills are six lakhs
Gurpreet virk is placed in ICU. No bruises and severe injuries but bitten by a poisonous snake . Perhaps she stepped on it while running. She was the second to reach the hospital, sir. Total bill amounting to seven lakhs. She will remain in here for a week.
Kushveer virk suffered from major heartattack and bruises while running. Perhaps too shock to see the woman's sudden change. He was the third to be brought here sir. Admitted in ICU. Doctors suggested a bypass. So it is costly sir. Bill coming up to twenty lakhs. Will be kept in hospital for a fortnight.
Fateh virk suffered major injuries on being cut with the trishul and bruises while escaping and it seemed the woman was more vengeful towards him. Admitted in ICU for severe health issues. Will survive but on wheel chair for a month. A cut is very close to his vital organs. It was stated that he was her ex husband who cheated on her. Perhaps she attacked the right place, sir
Bill amounting to fifteen lakhs.
Jasmin sandhu is the most injured of the lot with full body bruised and severe cuts from the weapon used. Stumbled over a sharp rock while running. Chances of memory loss or temporary coma. Admitted in high dependency ICU ward. Very severe case. Bill amounting to thirty lakhs.
Total aprox ninety lakh sir but pls prepare at least one crocre just in case. Tq sir , have a nice day".
As soon as he hung up, he smiled .
One crocre is nothing tejoji , I can settle two crocres.
Then suddenly a thought came to his mind
Candy!!! Oh my god. Is he injured??
He rang the hospital and the same stranger picked up at the first ring. He enquired anxiously
"There's a chubby cute little fellow. Is he alright".
The guy replied politely,
"Yes sir. He is fine and fit". To which angad sighed a huge relief. " Can i talk to him, pls. He must be scared".
The stranger smiled.
"No sir, he is busy enjoying food in the canteen stating he was exhausted after the running. Sir, u need to cover the bill as well. That fellow has a great appetite"
He was puzzled
" But u said he was fit and fine" to which the stranger answered calmly.
Sir, apparently when the woman ambushed the families , the boy joined her running behind them with a stick screaming. Mahavir hun main. Devi maa ka lonkda The kid had the divine power of Hanumanji. So he was the lady's assistant ,sir"
The businessman hung up the call and burst into a laughter. Oh God! Candy tusi great ho!!
Two days later
He settled the full amount of medical bills and booked a hotel room for tejo to put up before placing her into a plane to Canada to pursue her PHD. The families were afraid to put up with her. Her fierce avatar frightened them to death.
And she was still puzzled with their behavior as no one told the truth of the incident.
Not even Angad Mann. He covered up stating a bomb blast took place during the elections and that's how they got injured . They were still shocked with the after effects.
