from a guy's perspective, it sucks. Just think about it: while getting married, most of the guys say to girl's parents "i will keep your daughter happy for the rest of her life'.

have you ever heard a girl saying to the boy's parents that she will keep their son happy for the rest of his life?

This is true. Especially in India, where the groom and his parents loot the bride and her parents in the name of marriage.
