Kangana is a woman who fought with most of the industry in the past 5-6 years (and therefor doesn't do movies with any bankable stars, or get much positive media coverage).

Plus she downgraded herself big time in even a lot of BJP supporters' eyes (especially more recently) with all the over the top statements, like whatever her reasons may be for acting that way no one really sees her as A-list anymore, so hat is another reason why even people that may agree with her on some issues don't actually go and watch her films in large enough numbers for it to make them hits.

Meanwhile Akshay also supports the current government, but always makes sure he does so in a super sane, balanced, diplomatic way, and is smart enough to keep good relations with pretty much all powerful people in the industry.

Agree completely with the last part about doing lots of movies being a big factor in his recent success though.

Akki is also in same stage as Salman, where they themselves can't see how much jhand their film has shaped up from trailer itself.

Akki has much more talent then this kind of films, he should overcome the fear of money for which he is just working non-stop, kuch bhi aa jaye aankh band karke bana dega film. Doing more films means secure life with no tension for money, but he isn't focusing on his real talent.
