Yes his short-temper and short-sightedness, his volatility and impulsive behaviour are the "flaws" in his character which even Abhi fans acknowledge..but nobody wants to see the fact that this kind of behavior in any person has bad consequences on their relationships and also on the lives of those who interact with such a people. So you're right, his behavior is definitely a main factor in causing the accident but he will never realize his mistakes and because he never realizes or accepts his mistakes, he will never improve as a human being. That self-righteousness and arrogance that he has no faults is his greatest fault.
