Also again:

Not here to educate you, but you need to get the difference between Recession and technical Recession, GDP vs GDP per capita, impact of decreasing FDI BUT increasing consumption , industrial growth, purchasing power, innovation plus startups with ease of doing business.

As they should.

Bangladesh GDP/Capita is $ 1961.60

India's GDP/Capita is $ 1927.70

You do know that 1961 is more than 1927 right, or will you argue that as well. 😆

My grandmother's sister hid inside a chulha (unun) during east bengal partition to escape killers and rapists. Direct action call by jinnah did most damage

Also, how does it matter if you are living within or outside india ? What matters is what you feel for the country.

Obviously what matters is what you feel for the country but not when you label people anti-national left, right and centre for criticizing the party and government you love for issues like employment, political climate, etc while you yourself have left the same country for better opportunities, you only come across as a hypocrite and nothing else. The citizens of a country have every right to criticize a government for any issue they feel like without having to be termed 'Pakistani', 'Terrorist Sympathizer', 'Anti India Lobbyist', which are often used in this forum for people who are critical of the current government. I don't need someone who left their own country for better tell me what is good governance and what is bad. I am living in that country which he/she is not.

And I've asked a very valid question, something that I've continuously asked for a long time in this forum and otherwise to NRIs who are fans and supporters of the current government and have opinion on every single thing happening in the country. If your love for the country is so much, why is it hard or what is stopping you from coming back? When you can write essays pages after pages about the wonders happening in the country right now, logically you should be coming back to your country right? Given that you left at the first place for better opportunities? Why does the chest thumping patriotism shown otherwise suddenly vanish when someone asks them to come back to India? When they leave no stone unturned blaming 'Indians' for going too modern and international and forgetting their 'roots' by admitting their kids in foreign universities or leaving the country for jobs when they have exactly done the same thing.

But nope, I never get a direct answer from them. They suddenly become silent and change the topic. And that silence is proof enough that they too believe they will get better opportunities living abroad and not coming back to India. Which is perfectly fine but it's absolutely hypocritical when done by chest thumping arm chair patriots. Being an NRI or going abroad for better opportunities is neither a crime nor a problem. Nor is showing abundant love for your motherland. But being a hypocrite is definitely a big problem.

Some of those don't even have indic identity and infact hate everytging indian despite living in india but their heart lies somewhere else. Their loyalty lies with outsiders. Their gods, religion, culture, ideology....everything is against indic values....and such people will never understand the love and patriotism hindus have for india.

Stop using Hinduism as a garb to shield your bigotry and give a bad name to the religion. Atleast have the balls to be one in complete sense and come with your original ID instead of making an MID while saying something as hateful as this. You don't even have the guts to name other religions here whom you are trying to pass off as 'outsiders'. The country is called India- a democracy that follows the constitution. Too bad for you that your hate filled dream of a country having only one religion while vilifying all other religions that make up this secular country will always remain unfulfilled till the time we have our constitution. Toh yeh sab bakwaas band karo aur mere sawaal ka jawaab do- India kab laut rahe ho?

So happy hearing about this film's success and the response its getting from world over smiley32

I generally avoid commenting on BW forum but got triggered. Every person who loves India as their janmabhoomi (motherland) and current country as karmabhoomi is every bit allowed to worry, rejoice and interfere in their mother's life as her child! Just like leaving house does not automatically mean you break off relations with your parents, leaving a motherland for pursuing your dreams doesnt meant you stop caring. You cant stop a child from speaking up for its mother just because he/she is now living away. Shaming them or stopping them from speaking about their motherland just because they are settled away is like saying a daughter to not speak up for her parents' issues just because she is married off. That's atrocious! Just like a married daughter is as much allowed to take care of her parents and speak up for them as much as for her in-laws, an NRI settled anywhere in this world is allowed to speak for its motherland. and not just NRIs, any desi/immigrant will feel the same. Our mother made us capable of going in pursuit of what we wanted but we'll keep looking out for her(India) AND keep speaking for her too!

Just like a mother is a weak point for a child and will remain till dying breath, motherland holds same importance, no matter where and why you go (not everyone leaves for same reason). And just like you dont hold your maa's pallu whole life to prove your love or stay with parents to prove your love, you dont have to do the same for your country. Holding, loving and caring for 2 countries is equally possible.

I'd humbly request ppl to stop judging and looking at NRIs with biased vision.

sorry for this rant @arnavfluffy, couldn't control myself. Like I said, I got triggered. more power to you and every nri/immigrant who's taking care of their motherland as well as their local communities!smiley10

Absolutely.

But you are forgetting that the same constitution has given NRIs OCI cards which means Overseas citizens of india.

They have every right to comment and support whichever party they want because of the same constitution and for that they don't have to come and live in india.

There are also people who are given indian citizenships despite voting for a seperate country for themelves by the same constitution.

You see, there are all sorts of indians who are given rights by constitution. Why do you think you have some extra privileges to make commentary on indian affairs that other kind of citizens don't have? You are nobody to stop anyone from commenting on india solely due to the same constitution you swore by.

And please kindly stop calling people bigots at the drop of hat.

Nowhere did I say I have an extra privilege to make commentary on Indian affairs just because I live in India. Neither did I stop anyone from commenting on anything about India. I only pointed out the hypocrisy of certain NRI members here who stop Indians from doing the same what an OCI allows you to do and terms them anti national and anti Indian. I just questioned back those same group of NRIs here in their own language pointing out their hypocrisy and no wonder it touched a raw nerve thanks to the barrage of MIDs suddenly cropping up. 😆

And yes, if you slyly take digs and pass of people following other religions co-existing in India for ages as 'outsiders' or 'deshdrohis' and want only one country with one religion then YOU ARE A BIGOT. A freaking big one.
