Namaste,

Looks like a deja vu of the issues raised earlier on the forum.

Must admit, my interest on the show has drastically reduced owing to a rewind-play of how efficient Haseena Mallik is even in the role of Urmila and how everyone in the Mahila Police Thana is again totally dependent on her.

2 issues which were perenially Karishma Singh's life story and Karishma Singh and Pushpa Singh had no role to play other than a few dialogues in the end when the case was solved by Haseena Mallik.

1. Accepting a non-vegetarian bahu

2. Accepting a working bahu.

Both these were Karishma Singh and Pushpa Singh's life story. It should have been them sharing their life experiences of how they coped with their differences in food choices and how Pushpa Singh has been supportive of Karishma Singh's career choices and pursuits (although she doesn't agree to her methods). They were best placed to solve the case. They would have faced issues themselves or had to bear social stigma.

I am surprised how Karishma Singh was silent when people insulted her MIL in the Mahila Police Thana. She only back answered Bua Saas in the end. She has, in the past stood firm in front of any perpetrator insulting Pushpa Singh (remember the Actor?)

What happened here?

It was Haseena Mallik who came up with ideas and solved the case while others were mere fringes.

Isnt it better that with the revelation track, they suspend/transfer Karishma Singh or make her resign? AfterALL, she brought Urmila and then she is bribing her each day. She is anyway only contributing to the story by portraying anger and/or helplessness. (Wait, dont tell me here too, Madam Sir will save her the suspension and become a hero while Karishma remain indebted to her? 🤦🏻‍♀️).

The show is Madam Sir's but this really makes no sense to me personally.

Totally agree!

I think sidelining Karishma's character and competency has been an ongoing frustration for viewers from the very start of the show. Cases like these make it really evident and force us to rant about it all over again. But I've really lost any hope that writers will ever change this. I was watching an old interview of Gulki from when the show had just begun. She herself was so skeptical of Haseena's unrealistic personality compared to real police. But the writers explained that their whole purpose was to create this possibility and give social messages. From that it became very clear to me that writers have a very very strong belief in jazzbaat changing society, and they will never want to show force as a good thing.

I have found a few fan fiction on wattpad that show an amazing balance between Karishma and Haseena, where both are brilliant in finding clues and solving cases, and they take turns having each other's back. No hope of seeing that here, so imagination power zindabad. For this show I've already adopted Ghajini's short term memory. Now I think I'll also start writing on my hands 'Do not analyze MS, its only for laughs!"

The only reason I can't seem to like this show is that they make everything about HM.

The thing which attracted me to this show was Karishma ka character and also her equation with Pushpaji.

I really like Gulki and was okay with MS as show is about her but with every passing episode they just keep on destroying Karishma ka character.

Karishma can't do anything correct and MS will do everything.

I would have liked that even if they want to show MS as the best person but they could have made Karishma be an individual, her own person, traits but no she is just a blind follower and can't do anything right.

They could have shown like how Jazbaat can't be the solution of everything bcoz aisa hota toh Corona ke time mein fine impose nahi hote hain Policewalo ko dande lekar nahi ghumna padta.

Same way ki maar peet can't solve anything.

Atleast equality nahi hoti but kuch essence toh hota Karishma ke character mein but no

Not trying to hurt anyone's sentiments

Just my POV

Absolutely!

Even a child learns when there is both fear of strictness and support of kindness.

We ALL, want shows such as these to do well because they have shown something away from routine and make no mistake, they have done a good job of it.

But when you recycle the same premise over and over and over again, it loses its essence.

Trust the audience to be accepting of challenging topics as long as it is convincingly presented. Here the "convincingly presented" part is completely diluted to say the least.

We ALL must express our points of view. Discussions are always welcome as long as they are civil. Isnt it the beauty of discussions that so many perspectives come to light?

the initial pitch was that this was a show about four leading female cops solving crimes with their varied perspectives on life. we all know that is not the case especially when they go out of their way to represent it in the writing.

if there is one thing I have understood about this show is that they do not know how to balance their characters and/or laat vs jazbaat and that has been blatantly obvious in the last 100 or so episodes. even the dialogues of the supporting cast have reduced significantly to the point of only sprouting expositions from time to time or to state how much they trust madam sir and how Karishma madam won't be able to solve the case without throwing hands.

when anubhav entered, the focus shifted to haseena, anubhav and Karishma. when Meera came, it became Karishma and Meera diaries. when urmilla came it, it's literally her show with the rest of them looking like dummies. as someone pointed out, in the last two weeks or so we got an overdose of emotions and useless filler episodes.

@italics: they tried to do that with Karishma wanting to resign due to her marital life being in peril. that was so poorly handled so I dont think this attempt would be any different.

I am not going to deny that this is a unique idea/show that aims to do a lot of things away from the mainstream. I enjoy it for the most part. some of the cases brought in a different form the usual topics of discussion in other media and has broadened my mindset.

but they really need to strike a balance between laat and jazbaat. that's why CC lowkey calling her out for it yesterday was a nice touch.

So true.. abhi toh sahi me in Nahi patah chal raha ki yeh log dikhana kya chahte hai .it would have been better if they showed how brilliantly and ache she thane wale logo ne along with karishma and that too karishma way se solved the case of (fake death of haseena) And those whole mission crap along with the line showing that haseena is trying to solve case too by taking get up of urMilla and at last they realize that urmilla is haseena. Again, I am here mentioning it.in FIR the use to show this type of cases beautifully with chandramukhi team being successfully handling the cases when chandramukhi was not their or was in danger .

They need to show the balance of these two emotions and ways by showing that haseena solving cases karishma ways too

The track which i like most was when karishma was tranfered to janakpuri(by the way the whole shooting was done in my city ..at the water funworld.Unfortunately i was not able to go that shooting area ,as they were in bio bubble) Okay again back to the show.and episode.Karishma's ability was proved more prominently in those episodes and cases where she successfully ,single handely managed to sudharo the whole janakpuri thana alongwith solving cases .

But even after these it was only shown that karishma is incapable or only haseena way the case solve ho sakte hai or koi tarike se nahi ho sakte.
