He looked at her intently, his eyes held a darkness. She knew what he hid behind those.
" Bina shaadi ke ek aadmi ke saath ek chhat ke neeche reh Rahi hu. To log to do chaar baatein karenge hi. Sach kahu to maine to socha tha mujhe aur bhi kitna kuch sunna padega. Yeh to kuch bhi nahi hai. Mere pyaar ke raaste Mai ek chota sa speedbump hai bas " she said with a somewhat melancholic smile.
" Tu pagal ho gayi hai? Tujhe pata bhi hai iss sab ka anjaam kya hoga? Bina soche samjhe kisike bhi saamne kuch bhi kehti hai. Tera college jaana, raaste pe chalna mushkil ho jayega. Samajh mai aata hai kuch " he said frustrated holding her arms. Why was she so careless regarding her reputation. Did she even realise what she wa doing in her madness?

" Fark padta hai.nahi sunn sakta ki log tere baare mai bakwaas kare. Mann kar Raha tha unka thopda Tod du " he said slamming his fist on the wall. Raavi flinched at the intensity of his voice. But a smile crept up her face. After days she saw a ray of hope.
" Woh...mera matlab. Tu iss ghar mai rehti hai. Teri wajah se maa ka naam kharab ho raha hai"
He fumbled softly trying to cover up as he realised what he said and took a few steps back and turned around.
Raavi softly hugged him from the back. He didn't push her away this time.
" Ek baat bata. Itni mehnat kyu karta hai apni feelings chupane ki. Teri biwi hu. Mujhse pyaar karna, meri fikr karna kuch galat to nahi hai na "
Raavi said as her eyes welled up.
" Biwi thi " he said
" Tujhe sach mai lagta hai maine jaanbujhkar tujhe talaak diya hai? " She asked
" Kya fark padta hai? Sach to yehi hai ki meri biwi ne mujhe isliye talaak diya kyuki mai uske saath maarpit karta hu " he said with his voice cracking towards the end.
Raavi took a deep breath and loosened the hug. He was opening up for the first time and she needed to talk with him.she slowly turned him around. He tried not to meet his eyes as the tears threatened to fall. She slowly wiped his tears.
Shiva pandya hated being vulnerable. He didn't want her to see him this weak and broken.no. he jerked her hand away and was about to leave when raavi held his hand firmly.
" Kab tak bhagega shiva? " She said
" Tujhe pata hai mujhe kaisa laga tere signature us papers par dekhkar? Kitna chota mehsoos hua mujhe. Hann, mai junglee hu.gussa mere naak par rehta hai. Par aajtak maine tujhpe kabhi haath nahi uthaya raavi. Kabhi nahi " he said pointing a finger at her.
" Jaanti hu tujhe kaisa mehsoos hua shiva.kyuki mujhe bhi aisa hi laga tha jab tune mujhpar dhara di ki kok ujadne ka ilzaam lagaya tha. Bahut takleef hoti hai jab aapke apne hi aapko galat samjhe, aarop lagaye aur saboot maange " she said.
Shiva looked at her. Her face was an epitome of innocence and purity. She could never harm his family. Forget family, she could never intentionally hurt anyone. But maami and anita. They were vicious people. What if they manipulated her. What if they keep using her against his family in the future for their own selfish interests.he was conflicted. His heart and mind were playing a tug of war. He never felt so helpless in life. He sat down on the floor tired and exhausted of fighting with himself.
Raavi sat down on the floor and put her palm on his face.
" Kab tak hamare bado ki galtiyo ki sazaa mujhe deta rahega. Ek saat saal ki bacchi ko duniyadaari, nafrat aur lalach ka khel samajh nahi aata shiva " she said her tears Falling freely.
Shiva broke down and hid his face in the Crook of her neck.he sobbed softly. She caressed his hair trying to calm him down.he calmed himself and separated from her.
" Kyu reh Rahi hai idhar itna sab kuch hone ke baad. Kyu ladh rahi hai sabse iss junglee aur jahil ke liye ? " He asked.
" Cheekh cheekh kar pure somnath ko bata chuki aur tu abhi bhi nahi samjha? " Raavi asked.
Shiva bowed his head down. What would he do with this gadhedi? He needed some air. He needed to sort some things. He looked at her.
" Main..main..woh " he didn't know what to say.
" Tujhe waqt chahiye na shiva. To waqt le.thande dimaag se soch ki jis raavi ko tu bachpan se jaanta hai, jo tere ghar ke aangan Mai khelkar badi huyi hai, kaaki aur dhara di ki god mai Pali hai.kya woh raavi aisa kuch kar sakti hai? " She said.
Shiva held her hands tightly looking down. He looked up at her and nodded. He needed to sort things out. He needed to get to the bottom of things. He needed to make up for his behaviour. But first he had to clear his mind. Collect himself.
" Tu soo Jaa. Bahut raat ho gayi hai ' he whispered before getting up and leaving.
Raavi smiled as she watched him go. She said a silent prayer hoping that this would be a new beginning for them.
