Shashi won't release that video immediately, maybe Vedika can. But that means falling to disgrace for Vedika in front of Ram. She will never do that. Even if Raya gets separated, Ram will permanently say goodbye to Vedika. Does she want that? See the thing is that maybe vedika will go to Shashi and by distracting him she will release the video from his phone, as ram is already angry with him. It makes sense why everyone is at shashi's place. That way vedika again can pretend to be a victim like Ram.

Ok so in this picture the kangan is a little more visible. The picture is grainy but much better as the pallu hand definitely have a kangan in it.
