We cant blame west only, problem is with Ukraine govt. as well which is not only falling for false promises but also forgetting decades of support Russia has provided in its development.

Syria was one of the most progressive cities before this civil war or war happened, I have been there. That is why I have stopped watching media, as who knows how much truth is there in what they are saying.

Many Syrians I have met abroad are well educated, hard working and nice too.

In the game of dirty politics, it’s always the innocent civilians that suffer.

Any war/invasion/embargo/siege that ends up killing innocent and hapless civilians (my heart goes out to children of/in war) should be condemned without mincing any words.

We might have differing views on why things have happened but currently it is a catch 22 situation for America and its allies including the UN. If they don't condemn the attack, then they will sound too hypocritical, especially after all the human, humanity and worked peace chants in the past. On the other hand, Russia along with China is too powerful of an opponent to offend. Just a couple of days into the attack and we have,all seen what is happening to the price and supply of petroleum products. Europe is already in the state of panic, USA, as expected, has reneged NATO forces from the said states of Ukraine. Besides, Russia is one of India's biggest trading partner for arms trade.

Hence, in international diplomacy, stance and speech are subjective..

If you can answer those questions in only that case we can compare it to Russia-Ukraine situations. Otherwise they arent comparable.

Not only you but people are hell bent on calling it an attack but when its a Reaction! We cannot talk about Russia reaction without understanding Ukraine actions which led up to this.

Well, India has historical bonds with Bangladesh and Pakistan, they were both parts of India once. So it's justified to go and occupy them?

About Ukraine, Russia might be concerned about it's security and being cornered, but it cannot decide for Ukraine. Ukraine is a sovereign country and free to enter any alliance it chooses. Russia isn't their Master.

We can't continue the discussion if you don't understand how the Russia-Ukraine equation differs from India-China/Pakistan/Bangladesh.

At best I can build a scenario for you.. lets say tomorrow Kashmir is made an independent country. India supports Kashmir in becoming independent and provides economic resources and also becomes its biggest business partner for year to come compared to any country in the world

However, if Pakistan or China try to entice Kashmir into joining a treaty and sending soldiers and ammunition with the intent of causing problems for India despite India from time to time telling peacefully to avoid such escalations. Even forming agreements of not messing up the years of relationship build up Kashmir carries on such activities India will be forced to respond in a similar manner to Russia.
