Farah Khan's wonderful gift to SRK
- Bollywood News
Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are best of the buddies and you know what Farah gifted to SRK on his 40th birthday? She presented him with her new script for a film called 'Happy New Year' as a birthday present.
Farah is currently on top of the success pile these days with her being a judge at the Indian Idol contest for Sony TV. She has choreographed husband Shirish Kunder's film 'Jaan-e-Man', which is being shot in New York. She will now go to New York for Karan Johar's film 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna' with Shah Rukh Khan in the central role.
Farah has also choreographed the Chinese musical film 'Perhaps Love', directed by Peter Chang. The film is the most expensive musical to be made in China or Hong Kong. "I enjoyed working in a new culture with new people," she says, "When the Chinese director asked me to work with the unit, I was totally zapped and overjoyed because passports no longer make boundaries in art.
"Additionally, this year, 'Paheli', for which I did the choreography, is an entry for the Oscars and I might attend the awards ceremony in 2006 with Shah Rukh Khan. If the film wins, that is one more birthday gift for SRK."
Well the duo sure creates magic together!
