Why does itv only show regressive mother in law- daughter in law relationships. Why not this?

let’s discuss

There has been shows that work on this line.. Punar Vivvah was one where Gurmeet was lead..

and few where MiLs and Fils have supported their DILs

Nice inspirational story, very few shows show such storylines, will be nice if they include small incidents like these even in regular successful shows in a few episodes

because itv thrives on saas bahu drama and how can there be drama without the saas being some kind of naagin lol..the words they use are so weird saazish and chudail typical itv but these shows get trp and good ones shut down

thats why i loved krpkab it wasnt the ideal saas bahu relationship ishwari was not a saint at all but it was realistic she didnt plot or anything but i get her insecurities and the show does an extremely good job portraying it and sonakshi is strong, independent and calls ishwari out too

problems between saas bahu relationship can be portrayed well without ott drama and weird plotting and scheming

and entertainment is nothing business. Got it!

Aanandi Gopal - Marathi movie based on real story. You can find it with subtitles on Zee 5. She was the first woman in India to become a doctor, and go overseas to study modern science. Her husband pushed her to do it. It’s set in British India. It’s an amazing movie, worth a try.

There were attempts to show things like these, but the problem is , it doesn't sell much.

Here some of us like realistic approach but there are some others who want to see drama and twist and turns and masala.

And it can be made long na, another reason, the show makers would not be able to make much profit. And more hard work is needed to write stories based on these. If easier things help make more money they go that way.

easy money.. that's why itv is so regressive at times. And when they try something new, we know what happened to IPZN

I really wanted to know what they had for us in store 😞.

The good shows most of the time go off air very soon🥺

Bold- exactly. But doesn't it strike their conscience? Of being responsible for being a bad influence on so many people?
