Ok- finally watched the KKIS epi & I really liked it.
AnuGun phonecall was the highlight for me because of the whole range of dynamics that got displayed over that one call. The haq is here now to stay. The way they behave with eachother is exclusive to them, aisa kisi bhi aur ke saath woh behave nahi karte- so much so that others recognise it😆.
Anu did a lot of taange kheechai of Gun over the call starting with bm her to talk with tameez with him to saying that Akku Didi ji praised her😆. Oh poor Gun got lapetoed for a moment ki her cousin thinks nicely about her😆. But uski dimaag ki batti late jali & then Anu ka tumhe tabhi samajh jaana chahiye tha when I said well behaved😆.
Frankly I was on Gun's side for the argument which ensued later on. Whatever Anu's opinion is about Gun, he shouldn't have allowed Akriti Saxena to do her burai when Gun had requested Anu to talk with her with good intentions. Woh Gun ki taraf se baat karne gaya tha & he should have not sit quietly letting Akku bitch about her. Gun had no ill will towards Akriti & she got so excited about her cousin praising her.
Anu comparing Akriti- Bua situation with Gun & her mom's situation was not wrong on his part according to what little he knows about it. But to Gun that was the most hurtful part. She was right on her part about him judging her without not knowing anything about it. Frankly I suspect that Gun is actually right about her mom. Gun may get angry & throw tantrums to get her way but she gets manaoed by her papa & bua very easily. She actually feels the lack of her mom's affection acutely. If her mom genuinely had tried to reach out to Gun over the years then Gun is soft hearted enough to give her a chance. The antagonistic reaction that Gun has to her mom might be a result of long years of disappointment & hurt. And anyways Gun always picks up her mom's call even if only to vent unlike Akriti who has blocked all communication with her mom.
I am glad that Gun spoke up about how wrong Anu handled the Akriti situation wrt her & Anu heard it himself. He immediately apologised to her about commenting on her mom's situation & genuinely felt bad about hurting Gun's feelings. Dr. Riddhesh with his constant apologising on behalf of Gun is annoying but I will not put him in DC category yet. He is not as useless as DC😆.
The fam jhagada on banarasi saree was 😆. BP- BM bicker like children with BP being the boy who pull's BM's ponytail. Their taanebaazi is A1👍🏼. BM giving dhamki of going to maayka & BP's constant chali jao. The fam ready to do bahishkar of Anu's shaadi & Anu's glee @ the possibility of shaadi getting cancelled😆. Special mention to BM's paise ka achaar dalo & 2000 yrs later people finding their skeletons under buried 💰 on excavation🤣. BP' s chal jhooti on BM's hum duniya chodke jaa rahe hai was hilarious. As Golu chacha said ki jhagada Goli bua hi khatam karti hai & same happened here as well. Goli ne kaha banarasi saree sab bahu ko milegi toh milegi baat khatam😆. BP's sadness while handing over the money with the sad shayari was 😂.
The men of the fam instructing BP to get himself new clothes for the shaadi was aww❤️. This is why BP is a good head of the family even with all his emotional manipulation. And it is not a dictator ship at all. Anu's shaadi was an instance where all the fam members except Anu were in favour of the rishta. If any of the other elders had reservations then there would not be such family wide blackmailing. He lives the same way that he expects others to live. And a bit of shrewdness & cunning is required when you have to be the head of a large joint family.
