My other show I watched in full was IPKKND 10 yrars ago, that show shut down because of the fans only because they could not see anyone else as ASR because Barun was quitting . He had enough doing daily soaps, wanted to try his hand in movies and other things.
They even selected Viraf Patel but fans requested SP and Gul to shut it down and they did. This is inspite of the show getting close to 3.0 TRP and was No. 1 show online as well with a huge fan following online as well.

Lack of importance was because Akshay was the weakest of the lot

That's the only reason I can think off

Dev is an important character

They will not kill him and replace him with sagar

Dev will stay for sure with a new face

Hope he is a good actor which will give dev the seriousness which is lacking now

PS.. they were planning to replace with viraf Patel?..ohh..I left watching the show befr that..actually I think I stopped watching around the time some old wicked lady came and behaving all orthodox..I stopped watching but knew abt story from watching scenes here and there...I knw some kid came who.looked exactly like ASR.. saw a few episodes too..I didn't like the fashion contest in the end. It was better they shut it down rather than ruining..

Please don't kill him and marry off rishita to sagar. Dev is an important character and an integral part of pandya parivar. I think they will get a new face to fill in for dev..

Will definitely miss akshay

Btw is it temporary break or permanently quitting PS ?

Pooh, are you upset that Dev, your action hero, super star, MBA topper might not be in the show😆

Don’t worry they will find a replacement. If ever they want to stick to the original premise of this show being a family of 4 brothers they will find a replacement. If the Choubays only insist on using sasta nasha while writing then they might show Dev is gone and bring Sagar for Rishita who ofcourse will not be a Pandya 😕
