I always felt that this version will not run as much as the original which is still going strong after 3 1/2 years. The only time they had actors replaced because the original cast member died in real life, otherwise the entire cast is still intact from the first day of shoot. They only had to replace Mullai and Janardhan as both died in real life. But the audience accepted the new Mullai and Janu. Infact new Janu is much better. The actor who played Kaka also died, they did not bring a replacement but they always had employed a guy in their store, his character is still intact.

The power of the original and its success is because of the writing(treated as a wholesome family show) and the cast members.

Ever since Sneha Kaand started, way back in episode# 145, not one misunderstanding between Shiva and Raavi have been cleared and it only keeps piling on.
The makers have no intention of closing tracks, loops and most of all allowing bad people to stay on or not get caught and pay the consequences for their actions is not acceptable.
I think the team deserves it for showing a weak Raavi and abusive Shiva and Suman.

Jitna bhi ye makers soche ki the abla naari concept with humiliation and mass-hero type bgm for wife threatening can garner trp, they are sooooo wrong...logon ka soch badal rahe hein...even gopi bahu is standing up for herself....Maa is fightung against her Ex-hubby...and ye 19th century pati-parameshwar-even-if-he-tortures me concept wont take them anywhere....when Raavi came backk ppl expected Shiva to take care of her and may be wud help her to prove Anita's kaand and support her when Suman taunts esp when he was all lovey-dovey and hum saath jeeyenge marenge s***....jab woh kucch bhi nehin mila they just didnt watch...iam actually laughing ki yeh bade shehar ke writers has a brain of the size of a molecule but show off aise dete hein ki puccho mat😖....if they donot show any redemption for Shiva Suman and PS family then the show is not worth it....they will lose their ardent genuine fans👍🏻

Now that akshay is leaving..can they now think abt revamping the show. 🤔..I mean trps are not so great..audience very angry..writers have no clue what they r doing..some actors can't even fake decency.. just revamp please. I have a great plot..😳

IF and TOI clearly states that he is quitting for personal reasons. I don’t think it is because of his character. He got more recognition with this character than his AD campaigns. He will find some TV show when he comes back from break in June.

Also you have to be present on the sets to do more scenes, if you constantly have other commitments and take off, how are they ever going to write good scenes for you.

I will make a confession...I am some kind of panauthi for serials.....patha nahin kyun..whichever shows I like/follow..I dnt knw why..it never lasts much more than a year or so..

Also, Dev doesn't have a lot of importance on the show. To budget waise hi kam ho gaya.

I wonder if the lack of importance was due to Akshay's other commitments or due to just poor writing. 🤔
